Haven’t really messed with them but out of the box MM’s foot is a bit floppy. Need to pick up some future finish tonight…

Ditto. I futured his feet and his hips. Scrapper had no issues.

Yes, the Devy upper leg will hook into Scrapper. Here's a screen grab, where it shows Scrapper's slot. You seperate the top side, insert the Devy upper leg hooked tab and then close and tab in Scrapper's top side, which encloses the upper leg tab.

Ah, I guess the hooks on those combiner knee tabs are on the front of the tab, huh? Didn't notice that. I don't think that addresses my concern about the tab coming loose if Scrapper's legs come apart a little, but I guess time will tell!

i dont think it will. that system has been used quite a bit with legends and regular 3p figs. they usually hold up nicely.

Anyone know what the purpose of this flip-out nubbin is? Don't see anything in the instructions about it.

It’s a mystery I don’t think anyone solved yet. It just gets in the way in each mode if flipped out.

Could it be a plugin for prime's trailer or motormaster's?

I was thinking about how I wished these were masterpiece scale figures for a masterpiece Devastator, kind like their Light of Freedom, but after looking at many of the masterpiece scaled combiners that exists, it's probably best to keep combiners smaller. I don't think I've seen a single combiner that's easy or fun to mess with when combined. We can talk all we about on articulation, but chances are, the combined form is too heavy for their articulations to be of much use. Like imagine striking a pose with the figure and the ratchet joints start to fail with age due to how heavy everything is. I think Omega Supreme might be to only one worth it at that scale since he's pretty simple. Simpler figures like Headmasters and Power Masters would also work. I own the original G1 Predaking and when he's combined, he's mostly just a brick. Those aren't exactly big figures.

I translated a review and the reviewer didn't know what it was for either.

Maybe it'll come into play when they combine.

Joking aside, thankfully no QC issues. And the tolerances are pretty good too, except for Mixmaster’s ankles. I’m fine with the nylon if they keep it as good as these two.

Doesn’t appear that way, with where it ends up in combined mode.

Don't know if it has been said yet, but judging by the picture. It seems that the connections at the knee fold up or collapse somehow so the arms have room to properly attach. The devy gun spits apart for the combination also.
