Yup I'm looking forward to future releases and I have all of the MPs on preorder. But the fact remains that Hound was a disaster for a lot of people. Mine fell apart and I managed to return it. Hopefully the reissue gets announced along with Cliffjumper so I can have both on my shelf ASAP. The only issue is that I'm not expecting TT to say anything about the Hound reissue being fixed because they seem to be ignoring the issue. So I can see a lot of people waiting for reviews on the reissue before buying it.

And FIXED. I don’t want a straight reissue. I want one that’s not gonna break again.

Thank you. That was what I meant by Jazz's gun but didn't quite specify. The only ones that stuck to my memory were the MTMTE1 bazooka and the glass gas gun.

It does make sense for Autobots to have some guns of the same model, even if the bots themselves aren't the same body type, just picking out the same gun from their armory.

Yeah, exactly. Bumble Bee shares the same gun type as Ironhide too.

Yeah, that's the funny thing about the minibots--since they didn't come with their own guns as toys (with the exception of Outback, and technically Warpath), they were usually shown in the cartoon with generic guns or using guns similar to other Autobots. I think I recall seeing Huffer use a gun similar to either Sideswipe or Jazz in a Season 1 episode (can't remember which one off the top of my head).

Pretty sure most of the 'naysayers' have always said TT could easily do an unlicensed CJ...and even Jazz (see SS Jazz.) The question has always been 'would they?' since they seem(ed) to have such a hard-on for licensing Carbots in the MP line. And the question still remains...will this be licensed? It certainly doesn't require it. It looks nothing like a Porsche.

I never knew it was a Porsche until I was an adult. I don't need it to be licensed

I don't think 99% of TF fans need it to be licensed...but that always seemed an important factor to TT for some reason. Even though they picked and chose when it was important...they oddly never felt their flagship character (Optimus) needed licensing when it would seem an easy enough thing to do. But who knows, maybe they tried and Peterbilt, or whatever TF he is, were difficult so they said screw it...they're doing Prime 50 times over no matter what.

Next show that comes up that is allowed to the public and you want me to address anything specific to them, just let me know. I’ve got my digital camera ready but well, no shows for a while. Wonder Fest is next and perhaps they will preview CJ there

Part of the reason they most likely want to pursue the licensing is the crossover from car enthusiasts. I think that makes up a not insignificant portion of their purchases for those with licensed car modes (people who would buy a licensed Lamborghini robot but not an unlicensed one). It's also their prestige line so it helps from a marketing and branding standpoint. Especially when Transformers are known throughout the world due to the live action films.

November, if I remember right. I don’t think we wait that long. Either FK at the end of this month or early next month via Twitter we see official pics of 1 or both. The last 2 FK had no Transformers news, so they’re about due

True, but no one was debating whether TT would make an unlicensed Cliffjumper....with the exception of Prime, they've all been pretty much licensed as you said yourself, chibified or not, in terms of carbots, of course. The issue is that the doubting Thomas's for so long have said it will not happen because of the licence issue as a result of him being chibified and that if it were going to it would have happened by now and they've been proven wrong. Of course, I could be wrong and it could come out unlicensed and chibified but if MP-45 is anything to go by I highly doubt it....it will be licensed and chibified.

    :lol

Even as a Doubting Thomas, I've always said things could change someday, but based on the info we had up to that point, it seemed rather unlikely, and especially anytime soon! Call me Thomas, but based on that info, I still have doubts this will be licensed, but we should find out soon enough. Either way, though, I've had and enjoyed my figures of these characters for several years now while we continue to wait who knows how much longer for them to actually make it into buyers' hands...and I have been able to say I'm all but done with my collection as a result. I haven't placed an order for a new figure in over a year now. Can't promise something won't come along and knock my socks off to get me to upgrade one last time or two, but my collection is essentially complete and that feels fantastic...especially with the state of the hobby! Prices out of control, QC at all time lows, quantities at preorder within the hour or pay up the ass/miss out levels, and redos up the arse...I count my blessings just about every time I come around that I largely don't GAF anymore.
