This doesn't look like a "random plastic" test shot. This looks like final, unpainted colours to me.

It’s too bad you don’t really get to play with him. Wasn’t Lio Convoy reportedly of better build quality? I don’t remember many issues, but then I wasn’t too active in that thread. Delicate paint?

Wish all MPs were as sturdy as Inferno. That thing is a tank with durable paint and chrome and super solid construction. Don’t think I’ve experienced any other MP that was that flawless.

Fingers crossed Shouki here will have good paint. The relative simplicity and CHUG-ness of this guy (as well as Skids et al) hopefully they’ll be more playable than other recent Masterpieces.

 

Honestly with a train mode like that, I don't even know if Moonstudios is trying to compete

That is a fantastic piece, never seen that before.
Still have my car robots train guys but would totally be up for a commander class set of the three.

 

Sometimes, I think this "MPs are made out of glass" has been blown totally out of proportion .

 

21 years old to be exact. Mine are fine. No breakage but have light paint scuffing due to the way they combine.

 

Can\'t  wait  to   see how  Raiden  turns out.

Thanks, he and the one that forms the leg either look similar or have the same train mode so I was a bit confused on who it was.

 

Yeah his 'brother' Yukikaze who forms the left leg is also a bullet train, but has a quite different transformation and bot mode appearance.

The fact that they have the same alt modes and have different bot modes and different gestalt modes is so hawt.

MP Sunstreaker and Sideswipe get a lot of praise for basically the same thing. So Shouki and Yukikaze deserve a comparable amount of satisfactory eyebrow raises.
