Finally got some pictures of him! I'm hoping to have a video review up in the next few weeks.

 

I had a beast of a time with those. I was wondering what I was doing wrong but finally got them to fit.

 

Cool, did you had to force it or was there a trick to fit them together easier without scraping off at the tab haha

 

It was a combination of forcing and moving it around. Watching Emgo really helped.

 

Someone asked a while ago, I finally got to it. These two look so good that I don’t want to transform them back lol. 

 

Oh these look fantastic. I really hope Unique Toys continue with their movie figures (and if Black Apple wants to send his Ironhide design their way, that’d be great).

 

Good afternoon i recently aquired unique toys Nero in late July, everything was okay till recent days when the thight ratchet of the right leg became loose, any tips i'm how to fix it???

Those long plastic hip-to-thigh posts scare me, they have wayy too much give. Wish they had diecast in the center of the cylinder while the outer cylinder with teeth remains as plastic of course.

 

First off, you will need to disassemble the joint to see what happened. Then take some detailed high res pictures of it and post them here on the boards for other, more experienced users to see. I wouldn't try to fix it myself until you get the second opinion cause you can make it worse/irreparable. I'm sure someone here will be happy to help.

 

I can't check what happened without removing this srew/nail or whatever it is

 

I think that's a pin.... Yeah that’s a bit more difficult to remove...

Tab the arm panels into the torso sides first, then tab the shoulders in, it's just a leverage thing, and....finally!

 

Ah, I still hope that tab doesn't wear down over time.

 

Got my replacement horns in today from showz! I'm gonna keep them around for if/when the one I glued back on breaks off.

 

That's the one area I dislike on this figure, those hip ratchet teeth start to fray and bend outward like a funky goliath tigerfish.

 

Hmmm that's too much force for the teeth to handle, lube should prevent that from happening.

 

How?
