I wonder if hasbro would do something similar if you were to order TT items from Pulse?

I mean, they sell the damn things and basically own the franchise. Would they offer the same type of support? (By that I mean parts, not necessarily replacements as every store does that).

 

Yeah I noticed that too. Every figure I got my kid (Siege, Earthrise, Netflix, Kingdom, SS86) had TakaraTomy on the box.

 

It’s been a week and loving my copy of this more and more. Ankles are tightened up and working properly, vertical stabilizer housing cracks aren’t growing and the the stabilizers themselves move buttery smooth, starting to get the transformation down, and it looks like a million bucks in both modes. Plus I can make him do this. I know somebody else did this first but it was something I absolutely had to do with this figure. Sent it off to my daughter at college. She got a kick out of it. Sorry about the bad lighting, new house and all my lights have a yellow tinge.

 

It first started with the studio series, I got so excited when I saw them in my store for the first time. All my colleagues just looked at me like an over excited man child...  

 

So cool. Id love to live in this alternative reality where that is real!

Man, customs are great. It took Anime-Export only a week to get my copy across but somehow, for whatever reason, they held onto it for nearly a MONTH extra without any explanation.

...okay, beat me. He arrived today and he's a looker. Besides the feet driving me up a wall I've experienced none of the well-known issues and the rest seems fine for the most part. Due to being struck with a cold I haven't been playing around with him a lot yet. Found a cool display option for him in the meantime.

Although my warranty is actually a bit longer still, because there’s a 6 month warranty from the date of purchase as well.

 

So my copy I got on ebay came today and I got 2 stoic faces but no smile, can anyone point me where to get a smile face. Plz

 

First course of action is to message your seller and see if they can get you the replacement face.

Is your seller one of the more reputable ones? Otherwise you may be SOL unless there’s someone that has dupes of the smile face. IIRC, most dupes somehow are of the stoic, not sure I’ve read of anyone that had dupes of the smile but not the stoic.

 

Yeah I don't think my seller is that reputable, may have to just check eBay in case anyone puts up a faces only listing. Thanks though

 

Sadly, no. Takara seems to have a team of toy assemblers with extra parts to deal with these issues. HPulse has a replacement policy where the “damaged” product is replaced with the same or of equal value item (also refund option). Their “reimbursement stock” is not the same as the webpage stock either. It’s a weird and frustrating system to deal with. They don’t have someone with a screw driver set at the ready.

 

It's always great to have them help. I could even have them ship replacement parts to my forwarding address. But when I tried to do the same with the smiling face they told me they couldn't help me this time (despite helping in the past).
