Bumblebee sequel. The Bayverse has long since run its course.

agree... prefer sequel to Bumblebee, Although TBH, anything with a decent storyline is preferable to the last two Bayverse films (and that's probably being generous).

I’m split. I grew up with Bayverse, so I want to see that storyline concluded, even though I know it’d likely be a bad movie. At the same time a sequel to Bumblebee would probably have a better story attached to it. So for me I’d say 60-40 Bay - Bumblebee Sequel.

5 Bayverse films were enough to prove whether they could make a competent entry and well, I think we've given them enough chances by now. It's time to move on to the Bumblebee universe which already has a decent foundation for films going forward.

We already had five fucking films and over a decade worth of content. Let’s move on. I don’t give a damn about this TF6 or the Unicron crap. Do you people realize how poorly executed Unicron would have been in TF6? They decided he was Earth so it probably would have been a trashy version of TFP.

Let’s get some different shit on the road here.

A Bayverse sequel, an ending, but not directed by Bay, and definitely not a live action movie. Idk if it's true, but this guy on Quora stated only the Bumblebee cybertron scene costed around 30 millions Harry Jack's answer to Why is it common to hate on Michael Bay's Transformers movies? - Quora 4 minutes of scene. Bayverse is actually great if who makes it is great: the idw movie comics and movie games, they are the proof of it in story. For me a proper ending for Bayverse should be an animation, movie or series, but an animation with high budget. The thing with Transformers movies is that they'll always have a lot of human focus, it's inevitable. If something would come after tlk it should be only focused in the robots, cybertron and Unicron. A few human characters bcs you can't have Cybertron literally in front of Earth, Unicron raising from Earth without having any human appearance. We should have the military, Lennox as side characters only, like Agent Fowler on TFP (Idk how to write his name). But those movies made a lot of fans independent of you non fans enjoying it or not, we deserve a proper ending Login • Instagram and this thing here wasn't. Like, after everything that happened, it's the last scene with Optimus and Megatron? Megatron gets kicked to the heavens and we don't even know if he died? They should at least remake tlk as an animation but completely different and good. Besides what this fandom says, those movies have a lot of fans

    Bumblebee sequel.

People are just mad that the bayverse ended on TLK and think they could have gotten better when TLK is proof they never would have.

The ideal situation would be that Bumblebee was a hard reboot with no room for confusion, embracing the idea of this being a new universe and perhaps fixing up a few issues Bee as a film had and making it a solid foundation for the following films.

Instead of taking ideas from two separate scripts and fusing them into one, take their time and make a sequel to Bumblebee, then give us a movie focusing on the Maximals and Predacons and their conflict, then the following film can have them meet up or something.

Literally 16 posts in and I see no arguments.

Also there's nothing wrong with argument and debate as long as it remains civil so I'm not sure what you're trying to put across with this, if you're tired of this topic no one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to participate. Debate is a healthy thing that we should be encouraging.

That’s my main issue with all this. It should be a reboot. But there’s no commitment for some damn reason. They still cling to Bayverse, even though they show no interest in concluding that story and the most recent film (Bumblebee) has little connection to the prior films.

You know the only one literally still implying rotb and BB are part of Baymovies is Lorenzo, right? Bumblebee movie was even changed to be more its own thing, bcs it had more scenes connecting with the Bayverse (the beginning, with Bumblebee already on Earth as shown in tlk, and there wouldn't be a cybertron scene with g1 designs), but after the tlk failure everybody except Lorenzo went full reboot (they changed as much as they could BB.)

Lorenzo’s word holds little merit. He can say all he wants but he’s not the only one in higher up positions who wants the Bayverse to stay alive. He’s likely the only one who’s been public about it. The chairs on the set of ROTB say Transformers 7, Bumblebee had no Megatron because it conflicted with Bayverse Megatron being in ice. So all due respect, it’s not just Lorenzo. It can’t be. If they went full reboot we wouldn’t have gotten vague language from the director himself about ROTB’s connection to the Bay films. No one has committed to a reboot, and then likely won’t for the foreseeable future.
