It's a great figure just wish Knockout was a brand new mold. I think if they try to remold the limbs to look more rounded/sleeker I won't mind it but I'll be disappointed if they keep the blocky aesthetic

Six months ago, I'd've said that level of articulation is physically impossible at that size class and still be able to fit into WFC Soundwave's chest. And yet, right now I'm looking at Dr Wu's Chatter/Squawkbox with a smile. Hopefully Hasbro keeps taking up the challenges from third-party companies... C'mon, Hasbro, you gonna let X-Transbots show you up with their new Omnibots?

Now my brain is preoccupied with Townsend Coleman singing Flight of the Conchords songs. Although, yes, I would now also like to see a new WfC/Legacy-style Animated Sentinel Prime.

Fairly similar, there's a new chest/alt mode front made to look more like Knockout and likely other alt and bot mode details I can't easily spot.

He's a good looking figure, I'm definitely picking him and Bulkhead up.

Oy. All the hate and accusations of lying and false advertising for toys no one has actually seen nor even officially announced. It's no wonder Hasbro doesn't bother with reveals much anymore. Im sorry if it's not exactly what you hope for but I don't understand getting worked up before even seeing the thing or even afterward for that matter.

I wasn't likely to buy any Prime or UT figures but honestly I am a sucker for autobot car and mini bot repaints so the g1ified aesthetic appeals to me.

 

Well, y'all can keep on hating but Knockout is sounding pretty decent to me so I'm still excited.

Nice, I'd been thinking she'd be a Porsche like Minerva but if she's got a reasonably cartoon-inspired alt mode as well as a good robot mode I'll definitely be picking her up.

Sigh. I'm gonna have to replace all my cassettes again aren't I? And always one short of finishing. Legacy for WFC (Missing Buzzsaw), WFC for Prime Wars (Needed Eject), Prime Wars for Generations, and CDs in the nineties.

I'm kind of fine with both KO and Bulkhead. I think it's because I like the WFC aesthetic and am a fan of G1, BW, TFA, and Aligned, so the mashup is cool to me. I don't begrudge anyone else for hating these designs but I'm going to reserve judgement until I see them. Jazz-Out doesn't look too terrible.

Even having not yet watched Prime (it's on my watch list), I still have to say Knock Out from Jazz is a bit strange. That being said, I find it interesting to get characters adapted into other line's designs. I was a big fan of Datsun Barricade and I'm looking forward to adding KO and BH in a similar way. Curious to see how Arcee will look considering 2/3 Prime bots are confirmed retools already. There isn't anything she could be retooled from... is there?

If they did it that way I'd probably happily pick it up. I'd enjoy getting really nice cassettes like that.

But if they're the same size as the existing Core class figures? Not chance for me.
