The yellow shoulders and legs make him look like a cheap knock-off.

The same mold in the traditional Dinobot color scheme would look a whole lot better.

Because this is way better than the Energon armour Sludge.

Like if he runs out of ammo he can just flip it and beat his enemies to death. Really like the idea of Dinobots having barbaric weaponry.

 

Me, yesterday: Oboy, would love to get Studio Series Slag and let my kid mess with it, but ehhhhhh it\'ll be a floppy-jointed, scuffed up mess in a week. Really want to keep his enthusiasm for Transformers, though, especially the Dinobots. Oh, but if only there was another option! My (Transformers) Kingdom for a solution ...

Hmm, the axe blade looks as if it can slot into the main gun making the axe handle into a scope, but there\'s no photo demonstrating this.

I like him. I'm putting my money toward SS86, but this is a bit tempting. Looks like a really fun figure. Also, I actually think the head looks much better than the G1 red one. That's the one thing I wish SS86 had changed.

Yup, this is why I’ve always preferred modernized or stylized updates. Leader class dinobots are something I’ve always wanted but ss86 Slug just looks so…boring. It’s a great figure in its own right and does what it sets out to do but the slavish G1 accuracy just kills my interest (and honestly I could say this for most of WFC and SS86).

Even though the Cyberverse deluxes are a bit of a step down from the quality of WFC, I’ve enjoyed them so much just for being something fresh.

 

This guy looks really cool. Honestly gives me some FOC vibes, probably because of the slightly deeper red they're using. As far as modern updates go this is a nice one.

Love that face sculpt, looks very Roche-esque. Didn't think I'd get another G1-ish Slag with me most likely getting the SS'86 one this September, but this guy just looks way too much fun. I'll add some extra paint and maybe something to fill some of the more visible gaps (silly putty maybe?) and he'll be pretty much perfect.

 

I thought the same thing. I'll be buying this figure for the head sculpt and customization options. I love it.

 

2 visible lower jaws + visible robot head in robot mode... ok.
