4 Rodimus Primes at the Elston Ave Target as of this morning.

 

I snagged one this morning, there was 1 left, 3 Ark's a ton of Marvel Legend Netflix wave and tons of non-exclusive Joe's. The toy aisle at this Elston Target was stocked up!

 

Big fan of the Elston Target - they have long dry spells, but when they hit, they HIT, baby.

 

Elston Target had 2 Rodimus Primes and still had 1 Ark today.

 

Thanks for the heads up! Snagged the last roddi on my lunch break. Didn't see any arks left for those who want one. Does everyone else's rodimus trailer have issues closing the roof halves? My buddy's copy won't close properly and mine won't even with the turret removed.

 

I had a slight problem on mine, the seam along the top didn't quite want to stay completely sealed together, but would split open a millimeter or so. I applied clear nail polish to each of the tabs that lock the trailer closed, and that worked like a charm for me. Holds together nice and solid now. (Took two coats.)

 

yeah its unfortunate we have to use nail polish on an $80 figure but it works.

 

Seriously... the only reason i picked it up was because I had giftcards to use. Imo the figure is barely worth the $46 I paid. It's not a bad figure, but I expect more from both a quality and feature perspective if you're expecting to get nearly $90 out of people.

 

Same issue with mine. Also the left side plate that folds under the chest is so loose it keeps falling off. ‍♂️

 

All I know is I would not return it for a full refund even with the issue. Its a beautiful figure, with tons of playability and incredible engineering. There are probably over a hundred tolerance points and they all work beautifully on mine, except that one.

If I were to hop in a Delorian, go back in time and show this figure to my 12 year old self, he would LOSE HIS FUCKING MIND.

I don't understand all the complaints about this figure at all. It's beautiful. Solid. And even inspired at times, literally MORE than I ever asked for in this figure. Put 90 bucks in one of my hands, put this figure in the other, tell me I can choose to have ONE or The OTHER... I'll choose the figure every time. Not a hard choice at all.

EDIT: I Apologize for all irrelevant commentary in this post. I got a bit carried away. I just really enjoyed this figure a great deal. I know we should try to keep on the subject of SIGHTINGS; I will do better.

 

I love commander roddy just sucks the trailer needs nail polish to actually close properly.

just slightly disappointing when jetfire and skylynx were amazing.

 

100% He is effing awesome otherwise. His eyes shimmer and glow and his molding is excellent.

 

To each their own. I was never attached to roddy as a character so maybe that's why I'm a bit luke warm on it. The figure itself has some impressive engineering, but $90 worth?? Eh, to me that's pushing it a bit. To me he's a $50 figure all day. For $90 i expect more features for the trailer, less cheap looking wheels and a spoiler that's cast in yellow plastic vs paint that's gonna end up chipping.

 

Target on Route 59 in Joliet had 2 new MPM Bumblebee Primes, I grabbed one. The Joliet Walmart on Jefferson had nothing of note.
