That's the problem though. As long as Hasbro sees human-sized characters as accessories, you're right. But they're so much more than that. An entire aspect of them is going unexplored. With them being bumped up to Core class each, that aspect of them can finally be realized. Selling a separate accessory, bad. Selling a separate character, good.

We need them as characters, not accessories.

Maybe his color scheme makes them really hungry because it’s the same shade of orange as nacho cheese? It might remind them of their college days when they munched on chips and dip while watching TV.

His best and arguably only time as a prominent character was when he became the host for The Fallen's essence in the Dreamwave continuity. I think he's one of those characters that has a lot of potential but they don't do anything with him.

 

Sludge and Snarl have been rumored as Leaders for SS86 next year. The other 3 are likely as well, but nobody’s quite sure whether they’ll be in Evolution or SS86.

A Cybertron Metroplex would be pretty sick. However, I don't really understand the choice for him as the next Titan nor do I think he'll sell all that well. Isn't the general consensus that if HasTak were to make a UT Titan, it should be Tidal Wave?

 

It could be a trademark save. That said they have less risky avenues to do so.

Pointblank and Crankcase have me ecstatic. This line has gone from being a bit bleh, to filling four of the most bothersome gaps in my collection (hello Nightbeat and Blaster). To think I was feeling sad about a lack of Gears! What next, Emerite Xaaron, Pharma, and Fulcrum?

I'm also digging the hints that Elita-1 is going to be a Hosehead partial.

Though I tell you what, the numbers for this line aren't behaving like they ought to.

With citizen of the year @Apollux hinting that there's some other Core franchise character that Jhaixus is going to be a partial of, rather than the assumed Armada Starscream retool, we've potentially got another Voyager kicking around too. Maybe I'm reading it all wrong, but this feels like Hasbro are putting even more resources into this line.

 

Absolutely loving all this info flooding out (and serious kudos to all putting in the legwork)...this line looks like it's going to be proper bonkers!  

And yeah, I echo each and every call for a new Thunderwing. Leader-class Mega Pretender with the finest current level of engineering, thank you please.  

 

So many leaks and listings, I already find it hard to track all of them...so far, the ones I'm most curious about are Motormaster and Cybertron Metroplex that I wasn't expecting as the first UT titan.

 

Aw man, I only just learned about the Cybertron Metroplex character. And here I was all hyped up being able to get a Metroplex like the TR version for under €500… :/

 

Same here. I Do hope that he like Crosshairs will be based on his rebirth animation model

I don't want to believe any of the new rumors, but I never would have believed WFC would grow to where it's gotten. I have to rethink where I have my Unicron and The Ark because Black Zarak will be coming soon, how insane is that whole sentence 4 years ago?
