I don’t expect for any G1 constructicons till 2023 at the earliest.
I remember having this same argument about Hasbro redoing the Dinobots, back in late 2019 and now look where we’re at.

But I don’t think the whole “Well they just reissued the old one” is an excuse(especially with that reissue being an exclusive) for Hasbro not to redo them.
Also the reissue doesn’t fit well with the rest of the Wfc figures.

 

I think I'm one of the few that would prefer if the combiners were more CW Devastator height, as the standard CW combiner height I always found too small.
Whether it be through bigger individual bots or partsforming, CW Devy height would be ideal for me. He's just that perfect height for combiners (probably helps he was designed for MP first).

How tall are the Combiner Wars Constructicons? Devastator was usually about twice as tall as dino Grimlock in G1.

I think they also did that because the Dinobots (and Terrorcons) were during the start of the brand unification thing, so those 2 teams didn't get that Takara treatment like the others.

 

Agreed, Id rather my teams be in scale and well built, and while I like big combiners I don't need them to be huge.

 

The individual UW Constructicons have more articulation than the CW set but they're still not too great. So I keep mine in combined mode.

But if they do make a set of quality Deluxe scaled Constructicons then I'll keep them in individual bot modes most of the time. Same with the Predacon's to.

They're all Voyager class bots that tower over most current Voyager class figures Longhaul being the largest.

Yeah I'm 100% certain this is the case; they're the UW releases that never were and Hun Gurrr especially had a toy accurate deco so no Doubt Takara would have done him show accurately had brand unification not been a thing. It does make me wonder if at any point they had plans for their own LioKaiser either before the unification or after that just got scrapped.

We've got updated BW characters with reissues of the originals being released side by side now and Takara did the The Best line shortly before the Studio Series line gave us better versions of near everything in it.
Why bother reissuing it? I wouldn't know how Hasbro's decision making works. But if I had to guess they may have simply though more people wanted it so they pumped it out again. Or as someone else put it:

It was a limited reissue too so it's highly unlikely it had any bearing on their mass retail plans

 

Here\'s what I\'m thinking with these listings

With those two Soundwaves one of them is for the 86 Line which is most likely a retool of the Netflix Soundwave and the other is from the bumblebee movie. 

What\'s also interesting is the Optimus Prime, I\'m thinking is either a retool ER Figure into Cartoon Prime for the 86 Line or a TFP Prime which is going to be a retool of the Legacy/Evolution bulkhead with a Trailer.  

The Galvatron and Core Optimus most likely going to be repacks from Kingdom.

Yeah but I feel like there's a bit of a difference between reissuing vintage toys within a certain amount of time of new Generations versions, and reissuing the previous Generations versiojs within a certain amount of time of the new Generations versions. As explained by BlackHawkOmega, the Selects and Volcanicus doesn't really count towards that directly since that was moreso attempting to "finish off" Unite Warriors with the couple combiners that came out after the brand unification took effect.

No, there is a Voyager Soundwave in Studio Series that is the Bumblebee version, and there is also seemingly a Voyager Soundwave in Legacy that is a rerelease of the Netflix Soundwave.
