Super curious about Iguanus

I just learned there was a G1 one too; we were told Pretenders were coming in some form, so it might be that.

 

It's probably the Pretender, but imagine if it was this guy:

 

Hopefully that means we will see Razorbeast soon.

 

Frankly, I'm surprised it took so long to hear about Core class Skywarp, and that there's no mention of Thundercracker.

SS and Legacy Shockwave? Honestly, I'm pretty happy with Siege. Main thing is the lack of a proper gun mode, but they obviously can't do that now, and there are 3P parts to make it into a proper gun. But if it's way better than Siege (which I honestly don't see, Siege is pretty damn competant at what it wants to be), I could be tempted.

I don't know what to make of Iguanus. I could see it being the one of the BW iterations if Polar Claw was in the cards at one point, but it might also be the Pretender, which would be really big news. I can only imagine how they'd do the Pretender gimmick nowadays, if they even attempt to. Go down the RotF Bludgeon route and basically integrate the pretender suit into their robot mode and give them the inner vehicle mode? Or they do a small core figure as the inner robot and release another figure of the suit at the deluxe price point?

 

Wait we’re getting two core class shockwaves from two lines?

I also recently found out there was a G1 Iguanus. If that's the version, I'm passing.

 

That makes way more sense. Definitely keeping an eye out for Core Shockwave, then. Can never get enough of figures that turn into weapons for other figures to wield.

 

Was really hoping the Studio Series Shockwave was the Voyager Bumblebee one. We need more Deluxes, Voyagers and Leaders to leak soon.

 

Yep. Legacy is probably G1 and Studio series is probably the BB version but in a tiny scale.

 

Why would Studio Series Shockwave be a Core class? Shouldn't he at the very least be a Voyager? That one has me confused.

We definately need a Voyager or Leader. From what we are hearing I hope all Studio Series is not going to be all Core Class.

 

My instinct here is that Iguanus is the Beast Wars version, and is a "partial" of Rattrap.

Interesting that they are apparently a separate thing from the Energon Monsters. Very curious about them, now that we know they’re in multiple size classes.

 

Oh dang, Beast Wars Iguanus was my first Transformer, I think I might have to get this one just for old time's sake.
