Went to Target looking for Darkseid but found a red and blue Justice League Superman instead. Pretty happy with it. Only JL McF figure I didn’t like was Aquaman. His head sculpt just didn’t look nice to me. For 20$ these figures are pretty decent.
Opened up my first Mcfarlane figure ever. Sadly, Superman’s line described it perfectly... “Not impressed.” I think it scales better with old Mattel Superman. I can’t wait for MAFEX to release their black suit repaint. Also, kittens wrecked my desk before these pics.
Load of pics out there at the mo - a shot of blight, and some super small pics of protos seen in the background of a Todd vid - looks like the Batman of Zhurr en arh (100% sure I didn’t spell that right), A couple from the upcoming Batman movie, red hood, Gotham knights night wing… probably a couple of others I forgot. Tried to dig out a link but poor phone reception has done for me.
Ok, if anyone finds the darkseid armor and gets an extra let me know. Yesterday the local store showed none, today they show two but they couldn't find them. A store in South ft worth that showed 4 in the target computer when I called the guy said they are all gone and when I said it showed 4 at the last store I was in he said and I quote " well I guess they all sold in the last 15 to 30 minutes." So it seems my luck with that darkseid is gonna be like my luck with the classified joes was after the first wave.
Are you using that popfindr thing? Two stores had false info. Numbers have changed but there's nothing available at all. Scanning the barcode there doesn't show any availability or there were any to begin with.

They, the people at the first target, were the ones who told me the second store showed 4 and I confirmed that with popfindr just to see if numbers were accurate. That store is the one that said they don't have them but they must have sold them within the last 15 to 30 minutes.
Saw mcfarlane dc figures for the first time at Meijer this morning. They had a weird assortment. Gold Hellbat, regular Superman, injustice Flash, and the Target exclusive white knight Batman.
I finally had some free time today and put King Shark together. Even with the lousy leg articulation, this may be one of my favorite figures this year. If someone told me a few years ago that McFarlane would be putting out toys I’d be loving, I’d have laughed my ass off. The other Suicide Squad figures are nice too. Still hoping for another wave. I want the whole lineup, A and B teams. Figures from the first movie too would be nice. Has there been any discussion of figures from the HBO max series coming out? Doom Patrol figures would be great, especially Robotman.
I don’t understand how Target is always hardcore with their street dates, but this one they didn’t care about. My local Target had 2 showing, but I didn’t bother to check because they always wait for street dates here. Then today it went down to 1 available, so I hauled ass to check. Nothing, and now popfindr says it’s sold out. All while the Target app never showed it available. This is bullshit.
