actually my Hodur came with 3 head variations including the crowned head with smiling face, along with two uncrowned heads, one smiling and another opened mouth.

 

You can always make a quarter of a bridge in the corner of a shelf.

 

The ones that come with the coronation set do not come with a flight stand/space bridge wall piece.

I’m sure this has been answered on any general page somewhere, but why does TFSource jack the heck out of their prices. Seriously, $109 for this figure when anyone could easily go to BBTS or elsewhere and get him for much lower?!

 

So they can put it on "SALE" for their customer appreciation event for $80! $30 off!

 

I stopped buying from TFSource beyond their crazy prices.

 

Looking to pick up the coneheads, do they have the same issue with the hips unlocking while posing? I have the original 3 seekers, Starscream was good but the other two? like 5 layers of future finish and they still like to open up.

 

in my experience the coneheads were much looser on that joint than the first 3 jets

 

Mine are def a bit more loose than I'd like but it's not a problem.... yet.

 

yeah if you are expecting an upgrade you will be disappointed to say the least.

i dont know why they made the hips like that. they have the ability to add a little tap on them like the brawn molds. yet they skipped that and just have them swinging around freely.

 

I’m gonna glue the crotch crunch together on one of mine and see if I miss the extra articulation. I suspect I will not.

And I officially can’t stand the shouting face on Skywarp anymore. Which seeker has a head that’s close to his with red eyes and non-shouty face and would be a good replacement?

edit: it looks like Icarus/Red Wing would be a good match, but in some pics the eyes are red, others gold. Can someone confirm they’re red?

double edit: they look gold in the pics in this thread, damn, it looks like I’d have to get a second thundercracker which sucks. Maybe the gold eyes wouldn’t bug me.

I wish they gave the seekers swap able faces. I also with they gave them move articulation to look up.

 

please let me know how the glueing goes, ive been contemplating it but… ehhhhhhhh.  

 

There really isn't any articulation to lose except the crotch thrust. And having it locked down doesn't affect transformation at all, so no problems there. I did the pledge future/kiki trick to stiffen that joint, and right now it's acting more as a glue until I 'crack' it--which I don't plan to do. That does more than enough to keep it in place, but if you really want to glue it down, I don't think it will be a real issue.

 

There’s no issue except now if you want to bend the leg at the hip forward you have to move the hip skirt up out of the way for it to move up smoothly. With the crotch crunch not glued you can get away with moving the leg forward without moving the hip skirt.
