It would be cool if Taker came in as a mentor/manager for another wrestler, maybe Bray if he wasn't fired.

 

Taker should just enjoy his retirement and leave it at that. I still say when his time comes for the HOF he should be the only inductee of that year.

 

If Undertaker isn’t headlining the 2022 Hall Of Fame class there WILL be a riot. He SHOULD’VE gone in this year as far as I’m concerned

So Christian now has 2 different titles matches against Omega in the coming weeks. Strange development that, as AEW doesn't typically run the same match twice so close together.
I really can't figure out what their plan here is. I don't see Kenny losing either match, as he shouldn't be taking a loss before the AEW title match and he shouldn't be losing the AEW title to Christian, as Hangman is the appropriate endpoint for that run. Yet Christian losing the Impact title match makes him look bad going into the AEW title match.

Best I can figure is Kenny wins the Impact title match with massive shenanigans/interference, in order to justify adding a stipulation to the AEW title match. Maybe a cage match to prevent interference.

 

I think Christian wins the Impact title, he is a former World Champion for Impact / TNA

 

Brian Myers (FKA Curt Hawkins) won a Number 1 Contenders Battle Royal and will be the next person to challenge for the Impact Championship after whoever wins tomorrow night on AEW Rampage episode 1, either Kenny Omega or Christian Cage

I just read that WWE is planning to have the King and Queen of the Ring finals in Saudi Arabia. I sure hope the people they select to win the tournaments actually WANT to go there.

 

So through my life I've been an on and off wrestling fan, I guess this is where I jump back on the train..

My wife was curious of AEW stuff and finally I just said screw it and popped it on youtube, Now it seems every thursday we are locked in and watching this stuff, it's honestly a refreshing brand, specally for a guy who enjoyed a lot the curser weight stuff of the WCW days. If we were not moving and my wife worried about the vid I feel like we'd be trying to look for tickets for the houston show next week.

It is fun to see this stuff again and seems like AEW is doing a lot of things right and trying to work with other promotions and other stuff. Guess I'll be watching this thread a bit more now

They had their big 20 min match. They won’t be having another in 3 weeks. They’ll have Kenny or one of Christians new impact challengers lay Christian out. Making room for Punk or Hangman.

Hangman was written out of the story because his wife was expected to give birth this month. He should be back on TV right before All Out

 

Good start for Rampage, one hour wrestling shows are a very easy watch when they are packed and that certainly was.

Enjoyed Kenny vs Christian, sensible way to get out of the corner Impact were in with their title and build heat for another match further down the line even if it isn't at All Out. Christian vs Jay White in the near future plz.

Britt being over as fuck with her home crowd was great. Hayter is a good signing, but gawd please give the ladies more TV as it's no good having a stacked division if people can't see it much.

 

Is that who it was that appeared in the Baker/Velvet match? I set my dvr to record Rampage lastnight and l was watching it this morning. When she entered the ring wearing a black top and a black cap, the recording stop.
