Has anyone brought up how they seemingly removed the front window entirely for the leader class box? I hope this stays a thing going further, as I quite like the art on the commander class figures.

 

I'll just get right to it, this stream was underwhelming and I'm really disappointed in Ben. Evan is always into it when he's on here, but this is the guy who complained about the leakers and now he says he's dead inside and just has a whole "MEH!" attitude about it all. I miss Mark and pretty much ANYONE ELSE on these streams. He's such a downer and I'm so tired of people acting like that. It doesn't make me want to buy their toys when he's not even trying to sell them to me. Isabella was fine, she played her part just fine and put on a happy face even if it was most likely fake to sell the vibe. I give Ben credit for being honest but doggone, what a... not even worth it. -_-

Onto the reveals...
Lackluster. Nothing special here, at all. It's almost like Ben said "Oh, we've been spoiled on Pipes? Screw them, then. This is what they get. I hate them all because I'm dead inside."
I will be buying Starscream, I think the accessories more than make up for the extra cost and the new articulated hands are an absolute plus.
Perceptor looks good, for the most part, but the one photo kind of looks like he's wearing a diaper... (The gray proto looked better in that regard. I'm sure in person he'll look a lot better.)
The Sweep... Eh. Too expensive to troop build.

I do LOVE the idea of a closed box. I kind of want them to get rid of windows altogether and no more of those "TRY ME!"-like openings on Origin Bumblebee...

The Shattered Glass stuff looks great, glad I preordered Megatron and Goldbug.

*smh* If they're unhappy doing these streams, they might as well just quit doing them. Shame, I like Rachel, Mark, and Evan. They need to be the people running these, no more Ben. What a friggin' grump. You're makin' toys, man. TOYS.

I've been waiting for an official Coronation Starscream for what literally feels like all my life!! Starscream is hands down my favorite character, and he deserves this official box set!

It’s pretty bad for consumers. Can’t see the figure, can’t see paint mishaps or the size eod the figure. Also easier for someone to return it with a different figure inside and no one will know.

I don't see any reason to replace TR Perceptor with the SS86 one. Starscream is a joke. A crappy chair and a cape with pauldrons is supposed to add $20?

$600 for that chess set???? Maybe I'll buy the inevitable $50 KO. I love it when they put out the "hand crafted and painted" BS. There are hand painted crafts from China in Dollar Tree.

 

Also, getting more than one chance at getting your own Starscream that isn't Evergreen, Aligned, Unicron Trilogy, out of scale, or has some gimmick added to it instead of waiting literally 14 years for Hasbro to do another normal-looking Starscream like I had to do after missing Classics is only a positive. I hope they repack this guy a third time.

I know! The art on that box looks so freaking epic! I literally preordered an extra copy just for the G1 Box Art! I'm probably going to get it framed in a 3D picture frame! 

 

I like their face sculpts. Not sure why everyone is giving the hate. Kup and Blur look great in person.

Is the Leader SS 86 Starscream Toy a re-tool or newly made ?

It does not fit into the G1 aesthetic compared (feet etc) to the other SS 86 toys, which is very odd.
I think the majority legitimately expected a mini masterpiece version.

 

Facts!

 

Skipping all of these. My TR Perceptor is perfectly fine, the Sweep is an easy no, and Starscream is an easy pass since I have the Earthrise figure.

Maybe something other than G1. I mean, next year isn't the G1 movie's anniversary year anymore.

 

The Sweep figure is utterly pointless, and them telling us all the differences between Scourge and the Sweep sounds desperate. I’m not going to act like I know anything about the toy business, But a voyager-sized Blaster with his cassettes would’ve been a better leader class than Starscream. Perceptor may force me to break my “no buying G1” rule because of how ridiculous it is that he transforms into a microscope AND a tank, not something that can be said for a majority of TF characters.
