He is heavy!

 

My OP just showed up from sideshow. I own all the other DLX figures from 3Z and I think this guy is the best so far. I much prefer his slightly smaller scale compared to the movie figures in the DLX line. He feels super solid in hand and the paint is incredible.

The show isn't mind blowing by any stretch of the imagination but I wouldn't mind if 3Z ended up dropping a Primal and BW Megatron to go with these guys.

Finally pulled the trigger and ordered my Siege Optimus! I was a little nervous to pay $180 for an upscaled high end version of a mediocre show toy, but I loved the siege op voyager when it came out, the pics for this guy look great, and I kind of think this design will be the mark of a generation of Transformers, and perhaps one day it will be a nostalgic and classic design. Either way, anyone who owns him want to shower him with complements so I have something to look forward to? Lol

 

I seriously doubt you’ll be disappointed, but I’ll build your hopes super high! To me, these are the best/most high quality Transformers figures, period. We’ve got the FansToys fanatics, but ThreeZero blows those out of the water in every way. My only nit are my hands are a bit too loose.

 

Finally got him in today right after reading your comment! Thanks! I've got to agree with your points, Threezero is simply the master at making these Non Transformering High End collectables. But those hands do Irk me. My main Issue I take with them isn't how they hold the weapons, but mainly how hard you have to grip them to pop them on/off the ball joint when switching hands. It drives me crazy cause every time I finally get the open hands on, Ive gripped them so hard to get them on that they're warped. Also, weirdly enough his right shoulder is incredibly loose, which I didn't expect from a 3Z fig. Not a fan of that. Anyways, he's a hefty boy, and his paint is freaking awesome. And he's quite possibly the most posable figure in my vast collection. Solid 8/10!

 

My DLX megatron finally shipped from pulse cant wait to get him. Looks like one I'll always keep on display

 

Let me know if he's worth getting. I got Siege Optimus, but I also dig that Optimus design. I'd love to have them both to compliment each other, but I'm much more hesitant with spending that same cash on Megs since I frankly don't think he's a very cool design. But I'm on the fence!

 

Threezero figures still have that problem? Damn, I was hoping they would have fixed it by now. Honestly, that's the only issue with the Threezero figures I have. Luckily, it's a minor issue.

 

Finally gotten the day to play around with my ThreeZero Optimus! He’s pretty dope, so I made a short four minute review on him if you’d like a push in either direction of whether to grab him!

Worth getting? How is he compared to Optimus?

 

I'm still waiting for my dlx optimus to compare in hand but I just love this megatron design, I say get him. From the reviews it looks like they perfectly complement eachother. I would love if there was a threezero nemesis seige prime version

 

Yeah he seems like a hefty thicc boy for sure haha. If you like Megs you’ll LOVE Optimus. Even after a couple weeks of owning him I can’t help but just randomly pick him up to hold him. He’s just so heavy and sturdy. As far as Nemesis Siege prime, they’re actually coming out with him. They just announced him a week or 2 ago. He’s up for preorder now. Looks pretty sick!

 

Got my Megatron and he’s awesome, but I wish we had some optional facial expressions. Otherwise it’s pretty perfect!

Stellar piece. I don’t think I’ll be doubling up on these like I do with the movie DLX, but I’ll definitely pick up Optimus now (I wasn’t originally going to), but this is a HELL of a piece. Ironically, I don’t like the light-up eyes, but I love the torso.
