Wow I guess your Target is trusting. I just stopped at the Plymouth Meeting store to get them and they have theirs behind a lock like they do game controllers and stuff.

 

Monaca Ollie's has solid cases of SS50 Hot Rod, SS52 Chromia/Arcee/Elita-1, SS55 Scavenger, SS58 Roadbuster, and Earthrise WFC-E21 Snapdragon. Scavenger and Snapdragon are in the toy aisle, the rest are on a table with Marvel Legends figures.

New Castle Ollie's had Scavenger and some Earthrise Battlemasters in the toy aisle this past Monday. I assume they got the SS deluxes too since their weekly ad showed them, but I can't check in-person.

Just some helpful information:

• We have two seasons: roadwork and winter.
• The state flower is the orange cone. They bloom when roadwork season starts.
• Helpful map. (The center is sometimes called "Pennsyltucky.")
• If you're landing anywhere near Pittsburgh, you may want to familiarize yourself with Pittsburghese. Not as common as it used to be, but you'll still hear people who say, "My car needs worshed." Yinz, torlet, buggy, gumband, sammich....
• Sheetz or Wawa. You may have to pick a side. (GetGo is good, but somehow isn't part of the rivalry.)

 

Some things to add:

1. Although not at the center of the state, Beaver County (or Beavertucky) is just as much a part of Pennsyltucky.
2. GetGo isn't part of the rivalry because it's already the best. Sheetz and Wawa are fighting for the Silver.

I wish my Ollie's had DotM Soundwave, especially with the rumors of core class DotM Laserbeak next year. I'll be in Erie this Sunday, maybe they'll have some.

 

Strange, I've never even heard of GetGo.

 

It's in western PA, parts of Ohio and Indiana, northern West Virginia, and northern Maryland. Pretty much anywhere with a Giant Eagle supermarket (as of today the first in the nation to take PayPal and Venmo for groceries!).

 

IDK if this helps, but when I first moved to PA, it took me at least 3 months to figure out what a hoagie was. Never heard that word at all living in Brooklyn NY.

 

Ollie's in Selinsgrove had a good smattering of SS WW2 Hot Rod and Arcee triplets. Also had a ton of Combat Megatrons, 3 Snapdragon and some battle masters. Also had some of the Captain Marvel wave of ML, the Black Iron Man, and some Wolverine. Was surprised to see a few Binary Carols. I think those were Walmart exclusives, so maybe that means Worthy Cap will make an appearance eventually?

 

Wow. Hearing this surprises me I was able to snag one. Got the notification, opened the app, added to cart, checkout completed and boom, arrives tomorrow. I never get that lucky.

 

first time i got a cheesesteak in SE PA, I was very confused when it came out with American cheese instead of Whiz.

Also, as a non-native Pennsylvanian, Penn State alum, and married to someone from Central PA, we are thoroughly a Sheetz family. So it sucks for us that we live in the philly metro area.

 

Only three good things have come out of SE PA, Chickie's & Pete's Crabfries, IASIP, and that style of cheesesteak

 

Great now I am hungry for a cheesesteak.

On a side note, my Kingdom Rodimus will arrive tomorrow. Already panel lining it in my head.

 

I'm from MD. PA can keep it's Cheez Wiz and tomato sauce nonsense to itself.

 

You should check out Shamokin sometime. It has it's own language as well:

• melk - a white beverage extracted from cows
