I think why they look so off is because their robot modes are a hodgepodge of previous Constructicon toys. Mixmaster and Long Haul seem inspired by the original ROTF figures, while Overload and Scavenger are based on their legends counterparts, and then Rampage and Hightower off their recent Studio Series versions.

most likely, i still think overload would look 10x better if they used the crab spider leg design because it looks like his non existant waist might snap off

Kingdom Galvatron is kind of trash. The proportions are the nail in the coffin (which I think is a popular opinion) but the lifeless plastic color, the “battle damage,” the dull face sculpt, the tiny crown, the giant tumor third leg in alt mode, the overall lack of paint on a figure that small at a leader price, and the awkward arms in alt mode all add up to a mega disappointment.

Galvatron is my favorite character and I have every G1 (turns into a cannon) Galvatron ever made and I’m sad to say this one is right around the middle of the pack. He was supposed to fill the last slot on my standard scale 86 display and he ain’t cutting it. Here’s hoping for a premium release from takara and some nice upgrades to fix the legs and feet at a minimum.

I feel the same way about Titans Returns Galvatron. The whole Headmaster gimmick just didn't work for him and he ended up looking like a Court Jester. I bought it because I love Galvatron, but the more I looked at his visage in-box, the more I loathed it, so I ended up returning it. Never looked back.

I think pretty much every Galvatron looks like a court jester. I thought that was the intention of the design, to complement his character's batshit-crazy personality.

As fantastic as the original Tracks' (and MP Tracks') C3 alt mode looks, RTS/United completely blows them out of the water. That's just a fantastic looking car. Often, the Hasbro "trying-to-not-look-like-a-real-marque" fictional car looks awkward, but in this case, it's stellar. Kingdom Tracks only wishes he looked this good.

To me he looked like an embodiment of a hollow crown. Self aggrandisement and bitterness personified. A cruel joke played on him by unicorn his master. Impotent and toddleresque in his rage.

Packaging with no plastic windows or no windows at all is fine. I think people make too big a deal about worries of unseen QC issues or figure swapping. Packaging with zero plastic is a-ok with me.

Kinda the same for me, but a bigger issue for me is the "fancy" shaped boxes that are a pain. They don't fold up if you want to keep them, and such things. Just go with squared and stop using larger boxes than needed. Go back to having the figure in alt mode in packaging and shrink the boxes by almost half.

For the transparent plastic thing (windows), they could easily switch to the starch based "simulated" clear plastic that's 100% biodegradable.

For me it's more the plastic ties or shaped holders... I'd be fine with them using the recycled egg-carton type like they do with the larger figures, and the small paper ties.

I dislike Animated in general but would actually love to see this guy get the Generations/G1 treatment.

If you had to choose between DOTM and SS Leadfoot, go for the DOTM. After having the DOTM mold (albeit a KO) as a placeholder for about a month I won’t be getting the SS figure anymore. They’re basically the same guy but one is more complex and feels much worthier of the price it takes to get and it’s not the SS.

I think availability plays a big part in that though. The original was notoriously scarce.

Power Core Combiners are some of the highest value TF figures ever made.

I prefer the look of Prime RID Bulkhead than FE Bulkhead
(The FE is more accurate, but the RID version just looks cooler to me.)
