So i decided to take a punt on the Play Arts Kai FF7 Remake Tifa, the original face sculpt was terrible and whilst the newer version was ok it still didnt look like the prototype...but i decided to get it and hope that someone would make a better face like they do for the many 1/6 scale figures...anyway, she arrived today and her face is great, like she stepped out of the game, its not quite exactly like the prototype but its really good if anyone was on the fence about getting her.

Also i just read that they are casting the Sabine Wren for the new Ahsoka series, which means new figures...woot

 

You almost make me want to dive into Speculation threads again... though the major reason I pulled out of such threads in the past is I remember people sometimes getting very heated about their speculation.. that and I'm not sure I want to get my hopes up with speculation only to have it dashed by actual announcements.

That said thanks for sharing tidbits. Fingers crossed for Knockout for sure! Would also love Airachnid.

In a tangent I'm wondering if this may result in some TFP characters being added to Earth Wars? Based on the current push of Beasts tying in with Kingdom it seems plausible, possibly along with some other Armada characters - they already have Armada Megatron and there's been mulitversal fun before

How long do Comics and Cocktails typically take to update order status? First time I'd preordered with them and I paid the balance on Rodimus from the PayPal invoice on Tuesday but the order still shows as awaiting payment. Why does Studio Series Core Class fill me with sadness? Is it that there's a single line of amazing bots from an amazing movie that more or less scaled with each other and looked great and now we're doing diddy versions of them for some reason, when we could have had full-size versions and we would have BITTEN HASBRO'S HAND OFF?

I just think they're useless. They don't scale with anything and 3Ps are doing a better job.

 

I imagine the core class LAM figures will be the small characters like ravage, wheelie etc.

I'm guessing it's a reaction to all the 3rd Party Legends scale figures and leaving money on the table.
Ah well.

 

I get that they want to put stuff out there at a 'pocket money' price but, tbh, they'd be better off saving that price point for the half-arsed shite they pump out whenever there's a movie.

There's some things that just don't work well at all when heavily compromised by parts, costing etc and this is the main example right now.

 

TBH I would love to see a better detailed G1 Ravage and a better Wheelie to ride Grimlock isnt a bad idea as long as they improve on the TR version

I forgot what a bitch it is to pose Piranacon. It took forever to get him in a balanced dynamic position, but at least he hasn't fallen down in a few hours. Also, you can see that it's possible to have him hold up Overbite after applying two coats of varnish to Nautilator's hips. I dare not attempt a third coat, because popping the thighs requires so much force that I risk breaking Nautilator's ball joints.
