Eh, I guess so, but aren't the WFC Micromasters generally considered to be pretty shite? I'm not really interested in paying Core prices for something that lackluster.

As a Micromaster fan myself... absolutely. But I would think that if they had increased quality and accessories(in exchange for having a higher price tag), they would have probably been a lot more popular. Especially since "micro" toys have been popular in multiple eras of modern toy history.

I'd think that the hardest part would be keeping Rumble in scale while also keeping him compatible with Siege/Netflix Soundwaves and trying to make him more proportional.

Straight up, I thought about it, and was like "nah", but I looked up Cybertron Shortround as if anyone cared about him almost immediately. Shortround is a no, by the way.

 

Well, yeah, I agree with all of that, but that last bit is exactly why I'm assuming this isn't going to be compatible with Soundwave. Substantial improvements seem infeasible, while keeping it that small.

The Rumble/Frenzy mold is one of the few WFC Micromaster sculpts that I think actually has the dimensional thickness and volume to be able to even vaguely feasibly fit more articulation in, but even then I'm not sure Hasbro would want to sell one single figure that small at Core class, even if he's got a good number of accessories. My prediction is that it'll be a figure more the size of maybe Buzzworthy Core Bee, and unable to fit in WFC Soundwave's chest, in which case I'm good sticking with my Siege one.

 

Maybe they'll go left field and he be Energon Bulkhead?

Leader dragon Megs and Voyager Armada Starscream both make me feel tingly inside. I absolutely cannot wait
