But the tooth thing is petty af tho, you have three options available to you:
1. Just buy an upgrade kit if it bothers you so much.
2. Or learn to live with it.
3. Or cope and seethe.

Frankly I'd go with option #1, though. I mean you're a scalper, you can afford it

This are slightly older pics, and I’m still in the process of painting the detail inside the face as seen a few pages back. Should have that finished by tomorrow. Haven’t taken more pics since last update but again here’s what I have so far.

 

I’m a little confused. I haven’t done any haslabs but I thought the way it worked was one was made for everyone who bought one. Ie if 10 000 people bought one then 10 000 would be made and if 1 000 000 were bought then 1 000 000 made. So how could there be scalpers? Am I incorrect?

Obviously 1 000 000 wouldn’t be ordered was just a hypothetical btw.

 

You are correct. As long as you aren't trying to resell for 10k by trying lean on false scarcity on the secondary market, you not scalping.

Selling a spare, or ten, at a price determined by the open market is basically retail.

This is probably not a great idea because this was already argued to death in this thread many times.

Essentially some say that it's impossible to scalp this figure because, as you said, it was made to order. So if you wanted one you should have bought one. And the nature of genuine scalping (by definition) is to buy up all the stock to make something scarce and then sell at high prices. But the tricky part is that some people bought more than one with the intention of selling the second, third, etc. for a profit to pay for their own copy. And there are most likely a lot of people that didn't have the cash at the time, or new collectors only hearing about it much later etc. So then it gets into a debate as to whether or not sales to those people count as scalping or simply making a profit.

My opinion is that selling at a fair mark-up is OK, but those scumbags trying to sell it for $10K+ on Ebay are straight up trash and I really hope nobody buys from them.

On a side note I just found out last weekend that one of my buddies has scalped 2 PS5s so he could pay for his copy and I've given up on trying to buy one myself because of the scalpers. So needless to say my respect level for the dude has gone WAY down. That's just shitty behaviour. I should also note that he is very well off. Large house with a really nice pool, high end Jaguar etc. so it makes it even more not cool for me.

 

Yeah I think $10 000 is overboard lol. I can’t imagine ever spending $10 000 on a transformer, even if I was like a millionaire or something.

Yeah I have no love for scalpers. The whole PS5 situation made me happy I’m not an avid gamer. That guy seems like a piece of work.

 

not everyone buying these things is doing so under the conditions it’s for personal use. Retailers and resellers also make orders.
Hasbro recently made changes to how order amounts are handled through haslab to try and curb this, but realistically there isn’t much they can do.
