That would be a cool set, though I would probably choose yellow Tracks or a Swindle or orange Rollbar from the Siege Hound mold (or even an Earth mode Hound retool) instead of Grimlock.

 

I would love a two pack ala Spin-Out and Cordon that had Battle Ravage vs yellow Tracks, but the Tracks mold needs help..

So, a lot of people have brought up the MP blue Bluestreak. At the time at least, Takara had cartoon Bluestreak as one character, called Streak (like how Jazz is Meister, that's just the Japanese name for him), and blue Bluestreak was Bluestreak. Separate characters, with separate bios. Blue Bluestreak even got his own entry on TFWiki. Which now appears to be gone, and the blue MP is just listed under G1 Bluestreak, with no mention of his old bio. Weird decision, but okay.

Also, TFWiki lists the blue version of the CW mold as SG Bluestreak now? So I guess that means Hasbro marketing this as SG Bluestreak (which pretty much guarantees a Pulse exclusive) is likely.

 

It has a store listing at Target, under the name Silverstreak. So, neither a Pulse exclusive nor an SG figure.

 

The Autobot symbol is red though. With SG the Autobot symbol is purple!

 

I don't know bout the website, but the figure in that picture is the ER mold, not the MP. It's probably someone's digibash they're using as a placeholder.

Yeah, I saw that after posting. Which I'm not super thrilled about. But then again, that Shopee(?) site the other person posted about shows it as a solo release. It's a questionable listing, due to not looking like the in-hand pics, but it exists.

CW Bluestreak is listed on SG Bluestreak's page because it was repurposed as SG Bluestreak. It's still on G1 Bluestreak's page as well: Bluestreak (G1)/toys - Transformers Wiki

You'll find the same thing for a bunch of other toys that were repurposed as SG colors.

 

Skipped the other ER versions of the Datsuns, but getting this for sure.

 

What the hell is the deal with aftermarket prices on Earthrise sets? I figured this was my cue to track down some stuff and made the mistake of looking up the Ironhide/Prowl and Rachet/Lifeline sets on ebay.

 

Guess you missed out on the whole fiasco of it selling out instantly and lots of people not getting them at all, including people overseas who had pre-orders not getting any stock.

I thought it was bad enough when I got the Ironhide/Prowl set with no box and a big awful shipping label on the actual product box, but then as more and more people didn't and couldn't get theirs, I was fortunate to be among those who got one at all. Basically if you didn't pre-order it before stock came in, you couldn't buy one after the fact and so many overseas people didn't get theirs at all regardless, demand is very high and the prices follow.

I pre-ordered Ratchet/Lifeline on November 23. It was delayed December 3rd and December 21st, then they outright cancelled the pre-order on April 26. I don't know if that was after the first batch went out...?

In any event, for whatever reason those sets got bungled badly and there's no sign they're going to address the demand. ::sigh::

 

Apparently Masterpiece Bluestreak is Streak, posing as a different person. Basically, he's Clark Kenting.

It's that persistent digibash of Earthrise Bluestreak's stock photo that has been posted multiple times and passed off for real prior to this leak.

 

Hopefully Hasbro can fix the issues with the Tracks tooling by the time this set is released.

 

It's cool getting a blue Bluestreak before/as inflation prices a lot of people out of collecting. I haven't decided what and when my collecting cut off will be, but Bluestreak definitely made the cut, he looks great!

 

I've always loved that Blue Bluestreak color scheme, with the nice shade of blue coupled with the silver and the yellow head crest. I'm glad they're releasing it on this mold.
