Hey for anybody that is looking on using the wing kits from the studio cell Unicron, I did a little remixing of the first set wings from here so that I can rotate the arms and have the wings locked and aligned. I'm not selling them or anything, but just wanted to show one option for what can be done with the wings.

 

It frustrates me so much when this happens. If you can get your money back I’ll be setting up a new preorder after this first batch but I do have one spot left for the full internal kit left. DM me if you are interested in that. Plus you will get my spikes and back plate set.

 

Finally got my second set of wings. I didn't do the whole heating and straightening thing but I think it turned out good.

OK I have reached a point that I feel comfortable with my files to print with no issues on most FDM printers. Several changes have been made from BYNT @geekgirl V2 post and everything fits snuggly together. Enjoy and Happy Printing.

Well I’m pretty happy with this color. This is what the spikes and back plate will be printed with.

Hey guys. Just wanted to post an update on my progress for the people that ordered the 3d printed kit from me.
All the internal parts are printed and ready. ( used a print farm for those) last week I was getting ready to print the back plates and spike for the orders when my resin printer screen went out. I had to order the new screen which they only sell in China. Just got that screen in today so I’ll be getting my printer up and running tonight and hopefully be back on track to start printing by Monday after a few test prints.

so if you ordered from me and was wondering what the hold up is, now you know and knowing is half the battle.

 

Success!! After serval issues with my large printer it’s back up and running and I’m starting to print the preorder kits for the backplate, spikes and ring post in the color match resin.
I hope you all are as excited as I am!

So what do you guys think of these ToyHax stickers? I’m putting them on now and really like the detail in the stickers.
On a side note. For those of you that really want the maw to be the proper colors how far are you willing to go to get that? Just stickers. 3d printed cover or one of those options with the added proper color gear?
I ask this because someone asked if I can make the gears with my custom
Resin mix. Making that gears in easy but you would have to pull the pins on every tooth to replace them.

 

I guess it'll depend on how easy people can put stuff in. Not everybody has the time to disassemble this large figure, and there's a big risk of botching the disassembly. I think, the easier the fix, the more people would buy into.  

 

As much as I would love for the entire maw to be the same color, the idea of trying this level of disassembly scares the bejesus out of me!

Don't think I could do it djjetstorm, but I'll tell you what though...

Do yours, create a thorough tutorial, and post the results. If you have a successful outcome then I just might think about it lol.

 

Would love for you to offer a coior matched 3D printed maw cover for color consistency.

Make that happen please, would you?

 

And a spikeless planetary ring while you're at it. Yeah, I'd pay for a kit like that from you.

 

Yeh that seems to be the condenses. I might do it anyway. I know pins are a pain and scary to mess withy but these ones are easy since they protrude out from each side of teeth.

There is one available that I have downloaded and will be printing for someone else. When I get one printed I'll post up some pictures and see if there is more interest. In the mean time you should all consider the decal set from ToyHax. its really great.

I'm working on that but it's taking me longer to get to it.
