Not sure if it was just mine or could be a widespread defect, but the arm on my Brisko (Fangry headmaster) from the 4 pack broke off during transformation. This was transforming Fangry from beast to robot, not Brisko (sans moving the legs). Just be warned that the ball joint may be brittle.

I am not sure if I am going to trade it out or just use the titan master. If my target has a few I will probably swap.

I can definitely see that for some people for me the ark is a missed opportunity type of figure. What I mean by that is the robot mode feels bland and looks bland to me, also since the ark was never a transformer in the orgininal show and just a ship I think it would’ve been way cooler to just have it transformer into a play set in stead of a robot mode. Put all that engineering into a play set to interact with the for class figures. Still include telegram one and so on. If someone doesn’t like a figure it doesn’t have to mean some weird negative intent behind. I have one on order but I’ve been debating do I want to keep it or not. The ark mode is cool but I don’t care much about the robot mode. Wish I could get it on a sale price lol cause I do see the benefit of having a nice ark toy I can leave in ark mode but for 170 it’s kind of a toss up if that makes sense

It just really seems like either thinner plastic was used for Fangry, or the mold has really degraded. I still want it, but man is that disappointing.

Honestly it seems like thinner plastic or costcutting in general for these reused molds for this Bumblebee line. Bee felt less substantial than cliffjumper.

Not quite at the dollar store KO transformer level. But definitely more fragile than the original mold.

I mean, that mold has been used a LOT too. I do find it funny it took them this long to use the cliffjumper mold for BB, considering they've had it ready to go since Selects BugBite.

I may have been a little unilateral in my phrasing. I was speaking of people who, apropos of nothing, start shit with other fans, by being condescending or directly insulting simply for liking something they don’t. There’s also a tendency to attempt to derail a productive/interesting conversation between others by inserting their somewhat irrelevant opinions. Of course valid complaints can be made about The Ark (and indeed any figure since taste is entirely subjective).

i don’t think it’s a perfect figure. I’ll buy it because I’m a completist, but I’d be shocked if I wind up ranking it in the top 50% of titan class figures personally.

I certainly didn’t intend to suggest that I think there are no valid criticisms of the figure nor that complaints/concerns about the piece were not worth discussing, nor that collectors who have issues with the figure should feel unwelcome discussing their thoughts. But I think we all have met the sort of person I’m describing if we’ve been a part of a fandom discussion group long enough. Star Trek fandom is rife with these people for example. Simpsons fandom seems to be more than 50% people who want to exclusively discuss what they don’t like and insult anyone who feels otherwise. It’s exhausting, I think many would agree.

But again, I apologize for my inartfully crafted comment. Upon reexamination I can absolutely see how it could be assumed that I doubt the motives of anyone who might have a perfectly valid issue/concern about how it turned out. That’s not the case, I was just inebriated and self righteously rambling.

Can anybody hook me up w/the He-man/Battle Cat 2 pack? I need (2) of them. I'll throw some extra "gas" money for helping me out. I also need (2) vintage heads versions of He-Man and Skeletor.

Saw some stuff being stocked at Easton Target. Had a sealed case of Arks on a pallet. A fresh case of Kingdom Wave 3. Also had the new SS86 Voyagers, grabbed the lone Wreck-Gar and 1 Tracks.

Also it’s crazy to me they made the case x1 Wreck-Gar and x2 Acid Storms. Like, it’s a Junkion, who was losing sleep waiting for Acid Storm? Lol
