Holy shit! You could've just slapped a generic trailer together and made people happy but you just had to go the extra mile, didn't you?

Too bad that same plastic is highly imperfect, and lends itself to loose pin joints at random and oil splotch marks quite often.

Kinda funny to have this take when the promo pictures are full on an amazing array of dynamic poses and heroic stances. But AS USUAL, this forum finds the few bad angles and has a field day with it. His chest is very similar to DX-9 DUTCH, but I don't hear a peep about that.

For the record I don't like DX-9 Dutch either. :p

I would make this argument more for NA’s bee and cliffy. Up close they look gappy and assy. In hand they’re delightfully adorable :)  defo went NA over MS hands down with those.

ppl still talk about DX9 Dutch, isn't that thing dead and gone yet???

given the legends scale attraction is the small size, i can't see how you won't see the the bad top front angle most of the time. it's not like you'll have it above eye level most of the time either handling it or placed at your desk, and so in general you would be looking down at it.

agreed… BB and CJ are so small that i feel this argument does holds true for them. however i think it won't be as much for OP given it's around 3X bigger, so details like this would be more visually noticeable. of course this is subjective to each individual and some may have better eyesight and/or like to handle their figures more closer and examine details than others. and as mentioned prior, anyone who likes to do any sort of photography will definitely be bother by the flaws more easily.

I’m convinced we talk more about NA products in the MS threads. Lol

We went from bashing NA Devastator to bashing NA Optimus to praising NA Minibots. Yet this is a MS Devastator thread. Lol

No one's having a field day. Everyone is objectively critiquing the design choices that they see in the figure because it would be silly for any of us to get defensive about something we have had no hand in creating, but that someone would like our money for.

Sooo can we take a moment and talk about long haul? Sup with the bed of the truck being a solid body? It splits and ariculates into his legs and folds up onto devys back? Mind you altmode is the mode I care least about, and the others look pretty good but… I’m not feeling the truck bed. Also seems like a couple panels on the leg should fold down to reveal the thighs a bit, I kind of wonder about his knee articulation.

If the bed of Long Haul being a solid body is a problem, it can be easily fixed with some fake load in alt mode.
I personally don't care, but I will do that just to see how it looks with a pile of dirt on the dump bed.

Looks like the knee bend is where the split in the calf to mid-thigh section is. Note the cutout in the back, that would allow for the lower leg to bend.

A dumper bed that has more space in it would be cool, but I personally like that their design avoids a hollow lower leg. It would've been nice if they would've employed some of that panel collapsing voodoo of theirs to fill in the legs and empty out the dump, but not a dealbreaker here.

We still don't know anything about Long Haul except for those images. Seeing the MP level of transformations on Scrapper/Mixmaster, there could be more to Long Haul his legs than meets the eye... ;)
Or maybe his legs are just simple this time around, no fancy transformation, who knows.

The knee definetly bends at the split. I'm also curious about his leg articulation.
We'll just have to wait for more info to be released.

Sincerely, I'm one step to unsubscribe of this thread and from the other MST ones.

I like to come into the threads to read updates or news of MST figures... And what I found everyday is NA, NA, NA, NA.. DAMN, it's frustrating.

OK, WE UNDERSTAND IT FOR ALL OF YOU MST IS BETTER THAN NA. YOU DON'T NEED TO SAY IT TWENTY TIMES AT DAY.

I'm serious when I'm not posting the "lol" icon.

Alrighty, I got my shipping notification from ShowZ as well. Looks like my order left their warehouse yesterday.
Can't wait to get these guys in hand. Will be my first time experiencing their nylon. Excited!

    Hopefully soon!

With these guys out and NA already having released their second set, it can't be much longer until we get an update on set no. 2 from Magic Square.

Because of the lack of new info on the Constructions (and out of boredom) I tried to give Long Haul some color. His head was a pain, because the base info is just a black head.

    Awesome!
I think I’ll go ahead and give him his vehicle mode Decepticon symbol on his chest instead. The area on his abdomen is pretty small and mostly obscured from view.
