I'll second the recommendation on Spector Creative. He covers a variety of topics that won't always be relevant to general toy collecting, but his episodes on how the industry works are very informative and frequently dispel collector misconceptions.

 

It will probably look very different from the WFC ones, then we'll have to do this whole thing again with main G1 characters, and Amazon or somebody else will cancel one of those and we're right back where we started.

 

I'd say Amazon is worse or the other two is worse when they fail to supply the item but there is either no other way to get it or it's just as limited by other means.

 

It sounds like they are keeping the Legacy aesthetic and scale in line with WFC. Given that this sounds like a wholly new mold, as opposed to a retrofit, it might end up being a lot better than the Earthrise version.

 

Works out to be approximately USD $203.

While the 3rd Party Sellers are asking for USD $185 to USD $200.

 

Tl;dr: did they reissues these? A TON are on Evilbay at $170ish, KOs or scams?

Couple of Sellers threw these up on Amazon...And the price nosedived.    



At this point, I'll just wait out for that SS86 Ratchet instead of this set.

 

Ss86 S'cream has the throne and coro gear. Same ER bot. Maybe Ratchet will get the "movie86" deco?

 

Will be good if Makers throw in couple more bones like medical tools/equipment...

They do order/sell more, more than they were allotted.

ss86 ratchet is labeled at $8.49. its not the same figure.

 

My point is if Amazon says, "here's a lot of money, make us some more Transformers", Hasbro will do it. It isn't a "couldn't" it's a "won't".

 

Apollux said we're getting Voyager Vans. Core Ratchet is just like the Core figures of G1 characters in Kingdom.

In all likelihood Amazon have sold all the Paradron Medics 2-packs they ordered from Hasbro. If there were any more in a warehouse somewhere Amazon would already have shipped them out already because keeping stock warehoused like that costs too much money.

The problem is that the number Amazon placed their original order for was nowhere near enough to satisfy demand.

If Amazon said to Hasbro "here's a lot of money, make us some more Paradron Medics 2-packs", Hasbro would first ensure the quantity Amazon are ordering meets the overseas vendor's MOQ, then Hasbro would have to schedule a run of Paradron Medics 2-packs with the vendor.

Right now, as I type this, the vendors in Vietnam are busy working on other orders, either for Hasbro or for another company. Maybe in a year or eighteen months and order placed today could be scheduled, but that's the soonest it could be done.

It's nothing personal, it's just business.
