Well, $150 for a 1/2 of PowerMaster is indeed expensive, but not as outrageous as the Dr. Egg. If it's a sold toy, smart design, faithful to G1, bigger than MP36, I do see lots of people paying for it.

 

I'd need to at least see a pre-production version before I could make that call. Grey resin prototypes are rarely a flattering look.

 

For me it's not a question of the value but more of a concern over refinement of articulation and style. Furthermore picking either Ginrai or Comic PMOp as a starting point, I don't see a place for matrix storage within my head canon.

 

That could be the case. I hope that this PMOP set from KFC will be good quality-wise.

 

When I get him, he'll be from the G1 Animated continuity. The same one that brought us maybe 15 seconds of the Classic Pretenders.

The first page of this thread has the renders and from the prototype it looks like a close match.

 

Really not feeling this set right now. The base robot just looks too chunky, truck can too long and the finished combined mode too tall and stretched. I'll watch from a safe distance and hope for positive reviews but think this isn't my MP PMOP OP
