I transformed mine to jet mode and back, posed him, and put him in my shelf where he's been ever since. No problems on mine but there are two many qc complaints to ignore. When I transformed him, I made sure to rotate his arms clockwise - righty-tighty.*

So yeah, I'm content with him but I also won't let my guard down when messing with him, which makes him kind of an "uncomfortable" figure.

    * I've always hated that clockwise is "right" and counterclockwise is "left." Like, how do you figure? It's rotating - parts are going right and parts are going left whichever way you rotate it. I guess we're meant to think of which direction the top is rotating but it always seemed arbitrary to me.

Mine has a major pain blemish and I had to wedge some paper towel around the peg to keep the wings on. I like the presence of this figure. I also enjoyed their Bee and Toyworld's Prime. But all of these figure have come with major compromises and I wish I'd just gone the 3A route. If 3A does Shatter and Drop Kick I think I'll just get them instead of Toyworld's and declare my Bee Movie Collection done. Already decided to bail on MP for the Cybertronian characters.

Decided to forge ahead despite the complaints and ordered Flash from Bombusbee. He’s just too perfect looking, and I’m excited for it to arrive. It’s also making me consider selling my Zeta Bee for the Transcraft version

Correct, it's the direction of movement from the twelve o'clock position.

Mine arrived today! Took forever with the lockdowns and the like. It’s bigger in person that it feels just looking at pictures. Absolutely massive presence, and a downright beautiful figure. If it didn’t transform id still be happy. I will say though 10 minutes in and his arm unscrewed. Adjusted it, and managed to screw it back in. Next time it happens I’ll do the permanent fix.

For other complaints, mine seems to have come without the throat ripper hand that I can find. Does have two faces though so that’s something.
Weirdly enough I did have a pin fall off the figure, but can’t for the life of me figure out where it went, everything seems to have pins in.

I did the arm fix on both arms and so they are all good now. Now that it’s been a few days as well, I transformed Flash, and following Emgo’s JTI, it only took about 30-40 minutes. I found where the pin went to, turns out it was one of tail fins. Unfortunately, I’ve misplaced/lost the pin, so I’ll need to hunt for a replacement. Anyone know what the best thing to use would be?

So now that the dust has settled... do you think this guy sold well? I can see he's still available from many retailers: TFS, baba, iacon, tfsafari, tf direct, bombusbee... Do you think Mechanical Alliance alternative affected the sales or people are just not interested in paying 150-160$ for a movie figure?
I wonder if they'll release more movie figures or go back to g1 after BB and Blitzwing but they haven't announced any more projects ._.

Looks awesome! Thanks for sharing. Kinda' makes me wanna' try but I always get tired of painting projects halfway through and end up with a disassembled bot forever.

On the Zeta Flash, all joints are normal screws, it's easy to disassemble the figure apart to do any modification or repaint, just go ahead! (I have did it multiple times, off-camera ;) )

Yeah, I don't mean that it's difficult. It's just that I'm lazy*. I'll start out on a project and it'll be the most important thing in the world until it just isn't any more. Then the thing will lie in pieces waiting for me to care enough to pick it back up. It's why I mostly either do simple mods I can finish in a day or two or I mod less expensive figures so I can buy a spare - that way when I give up, I've still got an intact figure. Or my mods involve 3d printing so I'm not altering any of the factory parts.

*I say lazy but it's probably a symptom of some kind of undiagnosed mental issue - the fact that I can be passionate about a creative project one day and then have absolutely zero desire to work on it the next day and sometimes lose all creative drive for months at a time has got to mean my brain is broken somehow. It just stops being fun and starts feeling like a chore.

First time transforming in a while, I can see a lot of stress marks around the ball sockets, and the left shoulder is loosening, albeit more slowly than the right shoulder.
Still a damn good looking figure, though, but he is destined to be in one mode or the other permanently at the rate things are going.
MPM-12 size comparison for anyone curious.

Just got this figure a few days ago and finding some issues, the leg panel ball sockets are showing signs of stress marks and the metal chest piece won't stay on during transformation to jet. Should I be concerned?

For some reason this piece of the figure randomly broke, does anyone who simply displays this from the front have a spare

I sent an email asking Zeta if they plan on doing a repaint of this guy and they said "yes but it will be a long time later".

Pretty sure we all know a repaint would happen eventually but at least it's confirmed now.

Finally received the replacement back piece in the mail today from Show.Z. Still not the missing wing flap, though. I think this release has been a bit of a nightmare for them, but I gotta say I'm not too happy with the after sale service from those guys.

Standard seeker colors I imagine. Obvious one would be Starscream. I'm hoping for a Skywarp version since I think black and purple would look great on this guy

I wanted this figure when it was on pre-order, but didn't have the funds at the time. Since the release, with the few QC problems and the arm joint design fault, I just wish there was a Flash+, where they tighten some joints, some new paint and maybe rework that shoulder issue :(  I'd definitely buy it then!

Since you can message them, mind asking if they can release a fixed shoulder for him?
