I get people will have different preferences but I get confused when people say they prefer MPs not to have faux parts as if it's a relatively recent feature, when the line has had faux parts dating back to the very beginning.

I believe the Firebird base model of the 2nd gen and even in the beginning of the 3rd gen was called "Esprit". Which is funny because that's also the name of the Lotus that Runabout changes into : P

 

Lotus Turbo Esprit is a very beautiful car. I'm so grateful the nickname Runabout was available, when I registred here  

 

This transformation design would work great as the throttlebots. They share a lot of characteristics in their bot modes.

I can't make up my mind about these. I always think of them as a pair, so I don't want to buy one or the other, but I don't know that I like them enough to buy two basically identical figures.

 

This is my exact quandary. I ended up preordering Fury. If I love it, I may get Fast. Otherwise, I'm going to wait for another company to tackle the pair to get the second one.

 

Not even a runamuck fan, but I’m super tempted to buy one, just to RIT dyemore him black, do a couple of cosmetic mods to alt mode and voila! MP K.I.T.T. Transformer!!    

 

They are different molds though, according to ibot. And their heads will look more different once XTB fixes Runamuck's mouthplate.

In a way they are a bit like the clones, in that they have a very similar robot mode but a different alt mode and a different transformation.

 

I preordered them both now, but I wonder why XTB announce them now and release them in 8 or maybe 10 months? I hope it will rather april than june or later, if not hopefully sooner. I also preordered Jocund at tfs-express, but will wait with James Bond. First priority is to complete Defensor.  

I'm still waiting when we can pre-order the first Omnibots. It would be nice if in the first half of 2022.
