Got mine in the mail yesterday for BBTS, and my gun seemed to be broken as there was a small rectangle in the box with a hole in the center floating in the gun baggy. Looking at some stock pictures, it looks like there is supposed to be a clip (or something like that) sticking out of the right side of the gun that mine does not have. The odd part is the loose rectangle is close to the right size but doesn’t fit, it doesn’t look quite right either.

Now that I’m looking at your pictures, your gun is also missing this piece. I saw nothing about this in the manual or videos I watched, so can someone clear up my confusion?

The extra square clip is to attach to X-Transbot's Apollyon (Megatron) mace/morningstar.

Here is a pic of his gun: 4BC59564-0310-4E3B-8D70-17A77AC14EB9.jpeg

So nothing goes into the slot? When I look at this stock photo I see a clip (or something like that) coming out of the gun.

Quick question for you all - on my copy of Andras, it looks like there should be a screw holding the two parts of the head together, with what appears to br a screwhole at the back of the head but no actual screw. Before I start trying to find one to fit, can anyone that I am actually right in thinking that I am missing a screw and if so, any advice on length and diameter would be appreciated (I want to avoid damaging the internal electrics by testing out the wrong size)?

I just got Andras and the Swarm, so four guns, all sans that piece. They must've changed their minds.

Can't whizz it out right now, but

Not sure if you still need a screw. If it helps it is the same screw that goes through the side of the head to attach to the neck. You can pop one out to compare.

Just dont drop it. Just took mine apart to paint the eyes and spent a good 10 minutes combing carpet.

    Cheers old chap, much appreciated!

Good advice, no one wants to end up with a screw loose...

I'm a bit late to the party on this, but that clip was on the G1 toy's gun, but I don't believe it was on the toon version, hence the change.

A little late to be asking this considering I have the original release Scourge & Sweeps, but does anyone know why XTB has such an oddly specific shape/design for their flight stands? There's a second, apparently useless peg behind the one that attaches to the underside of the Sweep's flying bathtub mode & then there are the two upright tube/columns at the front of the stand that also serve no apparent purpose, other than to look ugly...

It is a universal stand that has been packed with several different figures. Those two useless pipes sticking up must have been useful for some figure at some point. Sword storage or something. It would have been nice if the "eye" and "cog" that come along with the Sweep 3-pack would have had an adaptor to plug them into those two posts.

Well thank you for your reply, even if it is totally obvious and, if I'm reading your intent correctly, completely condescending. Those are the first things one would think of when pondering this question. I was wondering whether anyone had some more concrete answers pointing to a reason behind that design. The it's "packed with several different figures" theory doesn't really add up in this case, since four of those figures (Andras/etc) are basically identical & the other (Eligos) requires an adapter to use the same stand. Since posting this question, I've tried searching through XTB's entire product catalogue and, as far as I can see, the only products they've ever made that have included (& can use) that flight stand are their Scourge/Sweeps & Cyclonus. The initial question therefore stands unresolved...

Sorry I didn't notice this before posting earlier, but the included weapons did indeed come with the clip inserted (as shown in the render) with the initial releases. I have the Andras/Curse/Bane/Wrath set & all of their weapons have the clip inserted. In fact, they're so securely fused into the slot on all four of them that I assumed (until now) it was part of the mold:

Actually... Kingzilla, and Kingorilla also came with it... However, they don`t have a use for the pipes either. Not even their blast-effects fit properly in them.

Oh? I didn't know that. I thought they were KFC figures? Potentially revealing my ignorance, but is KFC part of XTB? Either way, the pipes question still remains...
