Actually, not unheard of. People have been walking off the job with no warning and no craps given. Part of the problem is the lack of a solid pay, and a lot of places aren't following CDC protocols and customers LOVE to get right in a staff member's face. (Sometimes vice versa.) After enough of that, people just give up and walk off. Not everyone, of course, but people get sick of it.

This morning I looked on Target's app and it had 2 Worlds collide settings available at Abington so I tried the pick up option which declined saying technical error. I clicked on their chat line and the dopes claimed I had made too many attempts and was limited to. I explained that none of those previous attempts were successful but by the the rep was being dismissive, telling me to just call the store (as if they ever pick up in the toy section) or call their 2nd tier Dept at 8am. Long story short they're all out of stock. One minute Warrington will say 3 remain and then BOOM! They're gone.

I think I put too much effort into this set. It's not like it's a new SS86 Dinobot or the rumored Blaster. So just I'll fall back for now.

 

Chambersburg Target

There are 6 T-Wrecks all on the bottom shelf. Nothing else.

They also have 3 Revelation Skelegods.

 

It's become almost trendy for an entire staff to quit here in Pittsburgh. It happened at a Subway and a dollar general (I think). I don't think the restaurant industry will ever recover post pandemic.

To be fair to the workers, they're generally underpaid (not getting into the political side of things, let's please avoid that) because they're not getting the hours they need and the customers have gotten really violent with them as of late, plus the pandemic issues. There have been over 3,000 different reports of violence on airplanes, there have been assaults at fast food places and restaurants, customers get verbally abusive and angry (you see videos of it on YouTube all the time). With all of that and the demand crushing their spirit, I don't actually blame them for walking off.

When people can behave and treat one another like human beings, we'll see things get better. It'll take some time and people actually doing their part to be decent, but it'll get better.

 

FYI SS Thrust and Wreck Gar started showing up in the US think the post on fb said Indiana.

 

Thrust has been available to order directly from Target if anyone wants to avoid having their soul crushed checking physical stores.

Plymouth Meeting Target had some origin Bees and like one Kingdom Arcee and that was it. They had three Amber Collection John Hammonds, though, if anyone is looking. Had exactly one Neca 2015 Doc Brown which left with me.
