Oh yes, he still has a full range of motion. They go on like slippers and tab into the two holes on the bottom of the feet. Absolutely zero interference was created.

 

Ours looks the same but is staying in place just fine. Wonder if the circular hollow peg part got loose, which appears to be the main connection point. You could try to wrap it in hobby masking tape (or some other very thin tape that is not smooth like Scotch tape) to force additional friction to stay in place.

Yep. The figure isn't even due to release until Nov. 1st in the US. Not enough people imported the figure yet to warrant adequate demand.

Along those lines, I imagine Shockwave Lab may have issues selling the Unicron eyes. Despite being sold out, Unicron sold far fewer units compared to a regular mass release figure, not to mention many would be hesitant to do any modding to a figure that expensive.

 

I've got the G2 Megatron Missile Launcher working! Still messing with missile shapes to hopefully be able to store them in the rear like the original toy, and I have new springs coming to hopefully make the missile shoot better. I'm planning on having the files for the missiles available for free when everything is ready, as well as sell refill packs of already made missiles, so I figure I might as well try to make them shoot as good as I can.

 

Anybody doing a kit that could attach to Ravage's thighs to cover in beast mode, and then swivel to the back in bot mode? Might be used on Tigatron as well.

Tigatron has different thighs, unless you mean a potential transmetal based tigatron

 

Potential/similar engineering, but not the same design. The idea could be used for both.

It's great quality. But not for kids. There are pressure points, particularly on the front wheel assembly, that would snap if mishandled. I think there's a piece that you can request to reinforce that vulnerable area, but I'd still be wary.

 

Is this Etsy Crosshairs set usable without removing the front bumper array? Or does that part get in the way of robot mode?

 

Yes, it can be used without removing the front bumper.
In fact, mine has the bumper attached right now.

The only downside is it gets in the way of Crosshairs wearing his wheels up on his shoulders in robot mode, they have to be slung down on his lower back.

it can be retained, but u cant “rotate” the front axles for the wheels to sit in the higher position

Unfortunately no, the same panels are troublesome in both modes but they move and tab into different places in each mode.
