After my cancellation nightmares, I had a day that almost made up for it. Got MPM-12 and SS Thrust delivered. Then, stunningly, I snagged the Worlds Collide set as an order pickup at one of my more remote Targets, and snagged a T-Wrecks while there as they had plenty of them in the wrong dept. (Collectibles instead of Toys). Then I popped over to the next closest and snagged three BB Battlepacks (BB variants vs. Barricade/Dropkick/Stinger). Second store was also sitting on a lot of T-Wrecks. I have a feeling he might stick around.

I don’t know what it is but certain Target exclusives tend to hang around for a while. SS Battle Damaged Megatron was at my store for a good while before it sold. Seems Twrecks will see a similar stay at stores.

Well, I don't need to belabor the fact that certain Bayverse toys have had alt-modes without real world counterparts and how that impacts sales sometimes, but I know MPM-10 and MPM-11 stuck around and went to deep clearance (Sadly, I never snagged either) despite pretty good vehicle modes, and those were MPs on top of it.

I really think Redwing, Leadfoot, Thrust, etc. are better comparisons that didn't have the same staying power (I also don't have them either!). Maybe those were smaller runs than T-Wrecks is?

Anyhow, I doubt in the end that T-Wrecks will make "the list" or be the joke that X-Spanse was, but who knows.

I don’t think so either. Probably because it’s early in the run and Targets probably ordered a bunch to sell. Now that the you mention Leadfoot and Thrust, makes me wonder the same. Or if they were more popular. Their relative scarcity never made sense to me.

    Maximal T-Wrecks arrived yesterday from Target.com! :)

I got the set for about the same price when it was on sale on Target.com a few weeks ago. The wheels are fine on my copy, but Bumblebee's head comes off SUPER easy after a few swivels to the left and right.

I can't really complain though because I love the Bumblejumper nod, and even though Spike is basically a trinket, I think it's a fun prop for any display. I think they are both going to look fantastic with Autobot Ark whenever I get him.

    Micro Headmaster chase variant :p

Redwing and Leadfoot were available for quite a while.

MPM-10, on the other hand, actually wasn't around that long before getting clearanced out - the victim of being a large item showing up not long before a reset, I think.

In your neck of the woods, maybe. In the city, I've never seen a Selects-boxed figure at a Target. Redwing was mainly ordered online, and popped up at retail in spots, but not that I have seen.

Thrust was spotty, but apparently had more presence locally, and I never saw a Leadfoot in store.

    I think you're right there.

Didn't realize you were only talking about retail availability - Redwing wasn't stocked in stores, but was available on the website for a long time. Leadfoot was hit-or-miss at retail, but was also in-stock online for quite a while.

Have they been restocked in-store yet?

I’ve not seen Grindor/Slag restocked in stores yet, and the deluxes haven’t been spotted in the US yet (at least to my knowledge)

Well target actually sent my Ark. problem is no shipping box with labels stuck right to the package. Bigger problem is it’s for my son for Christmas. Hair dryer to remove the stickers?

Some careful slow peeling, and maybe repeatedly applying/removing masking tape to lift off stray residue, if not just using GooOff, is my advice. A hair dyer might leave a lot of residue behind once the paper is peeled off, so I don't jump at it.

Once The Chosen Prime gets their shipment in I'll be shipping mine out, and will have no need for the box. If you haven't acquired one already by that point, you're more than welcome to take mine.

    1) Use either rubbing alcohol or hand santizer and carefully dab it on a cotton ball and begin to rub it on the sticker.

    2) Take a razor blade (find a box cutter at a store, those work the best) and place it under the corner.

    3) Slowly use the razor blade to remove the sticker.

The other option? Don't remove the stickers. Remove the entire figure and set him up under the tree. Maybe find a tiny santa had and put it on him. Have him holding candy canes.

We are on the same wave length! If I don’t get a new box, that was my plan to put the big guy under the tree.
