I think assuming PulseCon will kick off the next line is doing that thing where people assume too much. There is still a *lot* of Kingdom left between W4, GDO, and who knows what could still be coming from Studio/86.

Kingdom was announced and first wave of toys was shown During last year's PulseCon in September. It's not unreasable to assume next line will be announce this year at Pulscon that will happen around simillar time. We are getting Fan First Friday soon that might show us Wave 4 and that's pretty much all the toys in Kingdom we know of that Hasbro will be showing. Golden Disk Collection is meant to be Amazon Exclusive and Hasbro doesn't show exclusives from other stores during events like that.

For everything except the first one (which I didn't get as I originally was going to skip until I saw all these reviews about them... damn you peer pressure!) I am preordering on both and whoever drops first gets my money. I don't do a ton of BBTS cancels so I'm not concerned about falling into that no no list.

kingdom was following Earthrise which was 3 waves. If Kingdom turns out to be 5 then we probably won’t see the next line at Pulse con

Pretty typical of the Turtles AND Power Rangers to punt Transformers out of the way, History repeats itself! :p

Literally what? They announce store exclusives all the time during FF Friday. Netflix stuff, Target stuff, RED, etc etc etc. Hell, they were showing Amazon stuff during streams back in the Galactic Odyssey days.

It's fine to hope they show the next line, but expecting it is silly unless we get any sort of info that suggests that's what's next. Because then, next thing you know, PulseCon comes and they reveal Star Saber and a wave of Studio and then people are like "THAT SUCKS WHY DIDN'T THEY SHOW THE ENTIRE FIRST WAVE OF THIS NEW LINE THAT WE WOULDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT IF IT WEREN'T FOR LEAKERS!?"

Is it going to be a TMNT character? Or would it be an MMPR character? Tommy is a popular PR character and has a comic exclusive Foot outfit they could put him in to sweeten the pack. Casey/Splinter would be interesting but they didn't really do anything that'd tie them to MMPR so it'd just be a Splinter/Casey toy from Hasbro compared to the others which are actual crossovers.

No I just heard about Ralph as the Red Ranger in a two pack with either Splinter or Casey Jones in it.

List? Yeesh I had to cancel a couple of orders recently. Looks like I'm on my way to ending up on that list.
Same with Pulse. Although I have a Premium Account so they better refund me if they're going to put me on a list.

Is that official word? Was hoping for a Raph / Green Ranger Shredder 2-pack.

No you'll be perfectly fine. The so-called bad list that big bad toy store has is if you're doing Mass cancellation on pre-orders. So I'm talking that every week you are canceling a ton of items. I routinely have canceled an item or so once a month and I've never ended up on the list so far, knock on wood. And even if you do end up on the list the only thing that would happen is that you would have your figures be the last ones fulfilled on an order. So you'd still get them it's just other people would get to go first. And even then a lot of that is mostly from first hand accounts of people guessing what happens. But I would say you'd be perfectly fine.

Edit: I have heard two different rumors concerning what we are going to get. Everything is very clear that shredder is going to be by himself as a single figure, so I would expect that to drop on thursday. Tomorrow should be Raphael as the Red Ranger with another figure. The three different characters I've heard that could be with him are 1- metal head as the megazord, 2 - Casey jones, 3 - the foot putty soldier. If I had to guess I would say that the megazord may be the best one to bet on. The problem with Casey is, and I could be wrong, there really isn't anything power Ranger like with him in the series. And I don't think they do a foot soldier as I don't know if Hasbro is that gung ho of putting foot soldiers, army building figures, in a pack with another figure that is well wanted anymore. They got a lot of complaints when they did the putty with the green ranger. Which is why now they do the army packs as army packs. Metalhead would make complete sense as you could then have it with a monster so it appears that it is fighting it in giant size mode. But I could be wrong and it could be something completely different.

Another thing I like about Pulse. Cancelling willy-nilly and (at least thus far) not being punished for it.

I would be shocked if this is where they debut Lightning Collection Megazords. That would lock them in to a size and given they still want to make the monsters work at their current larger size I dunno if they want to commit to that yet. It's way more likely to see Megazords down the road as their own thing. Likely with MMPR leading the charge.

I still say most likely is Foot Clan Tommy. It would hold up with the "Turtles meets PR" concept of the set, and *not* with somebody who'd be a potential army builder. Plus you can kinda recreate this...

Not to mention Tommy has name value as a character and people would almost certainly want to do displays with him facing off against Morphed Shredder.

About the only issue I see with that is I don't know if Hasbro would want to have a power Ranger character as a Ninja turtle character in this first wave. Someone has suggested online that we could get the Rangers in the ninja gear down the line and I think that would be a better place to see foot clan tommy. I could be completely wrong but with rap being a major selling point, with him being both Raphael and the Red Ranger which are both highly selling figures, they're going to want to put what they think will be the weakest figure in this line with him. That's why many people were thinking that it was going to be April and Michelangelo was going to get a different character. That's why I could see metalhead being the one they select. Because he would be seen as the weakest since it would be out of ratio figure in the line.

But he'd also hamstring future attempts to expand Lightning Collection in to Megazords.

Also, I don't think the Turtle Megazord would be a "weak pick." He'd likely carry a solo release at the monster price point or higher.

I sure hope this next Fan First Friday for TF isn't like the last one where it was like 15 mins, show off the three figures we knew were coming months in advance and had already seen, and then put up the preorders. I want an actual substantial FFF since we haven't had a TFT in what will have been a whole month since SG Jetfire was revealed

Hasbro doesn't give a shit about leaks. If you're mad leaks "ruin" these streams you're gonna have to log off because until HasTak finds a way to clamp down that genie isn't going back in the bottle any time soon.

All of the Hasbro Pulse livestreams come via their YouTube channel.

I'd recommend subscribing to them, as you'll get reminders of upcoming live streams.

I'm surprised Hasbro Pulse on Facebook has not announced it yet. You'd wonder.
