So I'm looking at the surface detail, which is something I usually just take as a given, but man this guy is pretty bare bones.

 

The bare bones detail is a virtue I think, as it's attempting to emulate the simple blocky cartoon look of the 80's.

 

In other words, toon accurate. Which seems to currently be what the majority are looking for

 

It’s pretty detailed compared to the other two primes that came out along with him.

 

Ah maybe I got to look at some high definition pictures. Don't get me wrong I love the stylized look, I love the more cartoony cleanness of the wheels being Tucked away, and most of all I love the articulation.

Yeah, but I want it still to work with MP Ironhide/Ratchet, MP Prowl, MP3 Starscream (Wal-Mart), MP Soundwave, and most of all MP-36 (KO DTF KO version). If it still looks good with those I'm good.

Yeah, I'm more into the balance between the cartoon accuracy and style. Again, also looking good with MP36 is important to me .

 

Anyone want to buy a ms-01 off me? Non metallic version for 170 shipped? In great condition and only transformed once.

Probably an up scale of their legends 2.0

 

I don't know what will gonna be, nobody knows yet. But I put my money in since the first day.

I would be cool with that. From the pics I've seen it looks really nice. G1 season 2 look with nice real world truck detailing. Kind of like the best of both MP-10 and MP-44.

After far too much deciding between the big three I finally did same.

I know that much, I just wonder what makes it "improved". Paint? Parts (MP10 trailer hitch)? Build? And wanted to know what others are speculating.

 

It's a long shot but does anyone know if some smokey grey swap out windows have been made for this guy, I love the figure but the blue windows do slightly bother me.

 

Is there a version of this with metallic paint more inline with the 2.0 version of the Legends figure? That metallic paint looks so much better.
