Update: Bee is already out of stock and the 4 pack I dont think ever went in stock. You’re a lifesaver! Thank you! So tired of my Target’s BS.
Reset is tomorrow at Target. I checked my two local (Daytona/Port Orange) stores again, hoping someone would find for me the Saucer bee in the back but no luck. Employees are too busy to go searching through pallets, it is tax free weekend for back to school stuff.
Not a sighting and don't know if he was available already, but just ordered MPM-12 from the Target app. Should arrive a week from tomorrow, assuming Target doesn't arbitrarily cancel my order.
Nothing new at Largo, Pinellas, or Gateway again. Largo and Pinellas still have 3 T-Wrecks figures each, but I saw a lot of carts with boxes out so the reset is slow-going but it is happening in the St. Pete/Clearwater area.
Kendall Target has 3-4 T-Wrecks, but not in the TF section. There’s a large square empty area adjacent to the toys section, and they’re on an end cap.
Target on Aerial Way in Brooksville has 4 T-Wrecks. Man, the TF sections in my area have been freaking barren lately. This is literally the first restock of just about ANYTHING I've seen in like... a month.
So tired of hearing about this mythical "reset" at Target. Its becoming like the q-anon of Transformers collectors. There is no "reset". Its just the street dates are all coming around the same period causing people to think Target conspired to empty their shelves before they fill them up again nationwide on a certain date. Thats a load of BS. Target just gets stuff when they get it. Some stores adhere to the street dates, others dont. If there was a great "reset", it wouldnt just be Transformers. You wouldnt be seeing all this He-Man and Superhero stuff being placed on the shelves all the time while the Transformers section stays purposely bare. Just follow your DCPI's and youll be fine. There is no reset conspiracy. Please lay that word to rest already. Its getting so stupid.
lol Retail stores really do have modular resets multiple times a year. Sometimes specific aisles, sometimes entire departments. Not really a conspiracy.
I'm pretty certain Target will do a reset soonTM, but I unironically love everything you said. Maybe I am just the Q equivalent Transformers collector. I'm gonna sow a big R on my shirt next time I go to Target.
I literally overheard two Target employees talking about a "reset" this morning while they had pallets full of boxes out on the floor and were stocking shelves in the toy section. Target employees on the boards discuss it frequently. Let's curb the q-anon analogy, alright bud? As far as actual, relevant sightings go Clearwater has T-Wrecks on an endcap next to Lego Marvel What If Hydra Stomper and they have a fresh case of the Ursa Major ML wave. Park Street also has the ML wave, full case.
Walmart on Gall Blvd Zephyrhills is all kinds of fucked up. Some toys are moved by hardware and the rest by garden center. Nothing super new except Grindor. Other than that? Same crap different week.
2 T-Wrecks left at Forum Target. They look to be in the middle of their toy section reset but I didn't see any Transformers cases ready to be stocked on their carts.
Almost a whole box of Botbots wave 5 singles at the dollar tree at 1001 Gateway Ave, North Port, FL 34289 They also had one DVD from robots in disguise. It contains overloaded and decepticon Island. I looked at all the other DVDs and this was the only one they had no other copies.
...Does it really affect you that badly that people want stocked shelves and hope for it? Two of my Target employee friends have been talking for a few weeks about the big August reset and also the Funko Pop con exclusives this Friday. It's definitely a thing!
I get the frustrations, I almost went on a rant yesterday but chose not to. What I learned about the reset (their terminology) is that it wasn't happening just on August 2nd and going to be done. It started on Monday and will wrap up by Thursday (is the hope). Initially that is not what I was told, and is why I went early Monday morning. Furthermore, I learned the reason why the two stores I visit on the reg couldn't find the Saucer Bee figure. They're sitting on a pallet that is/was still wrapped and loaded up onto the steel frames in the stockroom so it would require a forklift to bring down. The reason for this is because the toy reset was starting with certain aisles and working its way down. While there is no telling from our perspective what day that they will get to it. It could be tomorrow or thursday...heck it may be longer. My initial ranting was going to be about that, things seemed to have changed in retail since I last worked there. It used to be I could ask an employee to pull something for me from the backroom if it was there unless it had a "streetdate". Now, it seems they are waiting for these new Planograms/reset dates and won't get it for you if such a thing is about to occur. Anyway, Daytona Target still only had the 6 Twrecks when I checked this afternoon.
