i used a forwarding address and then emailed me saying that address is suspended and that they will cancel my order if I dont change it   going to have to bug a friend to ship it to me

 

Got my Pegasus 3rd Cloth EX yesterday.

First SCM figure I bought in a while. I see they finally aknowledged that nobody was using the naked hands meant for the unclothed body and removed them. Also it only came with one pair of hand guards when my past figures came with 2 or 3 being almost 100% identical. What still haven't change is how difficult it is to pose the figure without having parts of the Cloth unplugging, falling, being way to heavy for that almost floppy and outdated body...

I really wish Bandai would offer an alternative to SCM. Something like "deluxe" S.H.Figuarts figures with extra care for paint/chrome, a fixed all plastic Cloth and a separate Object mode Cloth accessory. Make it the same size as the SCM EX figures if you want, I don't care. I just want good looking SS figures I can pose easily.

 

I somewhat agree with you. The EX line was an opportunity for them do design the armor, mainly the ones on the arms and legs, with solid connection points. I hate it when the bicep or thigh armor just flops down with handling. To this day I have yet to assemble any in object mode.

I don't think I've ever cared to display my Myth Cloth EX figures without their armor, so I would have no issues if they came with fixed armors.

 

Yeah they look terrible without the armor so much so that when I saw Sentinel do their samurai troopers I was surprised how good they looked without the armor. Sure some articulation does end up getting lost because of the well done body, but it is possible to get both looks looking great. But Bandai is completely fine with using that lanky body from who knows how long ago

 

On that topic, I would be game for some armored-only Samurai Troopers/Ronin Warriors as well.

 

Well they did try to venture in the Figuarts line but started with pegasus from Omega lol. I guess inflation and being mostly web exclusive has decreased the part counts. Crazy to think we could buy the V2 armors and it came with a clean and broken cloth.

 

Yea thats the biggest downside of the renewals. Who knows what kind of drug Bandai was in that they made the EX V2 and EX Gold Saints a good value when released. Now we are paying for it with Hades and Hypnos

24K gold plated, and new body, and the new headsculpt is beatiful!! However im not ready to pay through the nose just for those pieces.
