EB, not Zing. I checked last week, and they've been facilitating support for all the Haslab projects (the only one I knew about was Unicron because I was part of that), so it seems reasonable to think that they will facilitate this one too.
It's NOT accurate. You pointed out cartoon-accuracy, and the cartoon may well leave room for interpretation, but the toy definitely handled Brainmasters a specific way. I was talking about a toy thing that the MP didn't replicate.
Not much considering that proposed price point. Star Saber is known for having a bunch of gimmicks. You would want to include them.
They would probably lose a lot of good will from the fandom if they were to do that, so any benefits gained would likely be outweighed by the disappointment in fans.
If this is honoring the JG1 anime then I would expect nothing less of a full package with • Brain • Saber • V-Star • Jan • Holi • Victory Leo • Blast and sword effect parts I would also give it a modulator feature so if you want to give victory saber a more modern feeling with Leo’s lion head as the chest and a new helmet/claws ala flame toys that would be a cool bonus.
Hopefully if they give us Holi it's a new mold rather than a repaint of Siege Stakeout. That figure is pretty crap, aside from the head sculpt.
hope for the other two micromasters that werent done first though to be honest. then after those two then if they want do Holi again I guess.
Oh no, I agree. It would be nice if we get all 4 with Star Saber too. That's big wishful thinking though. =p
I hope that if they do get to do Victory Leo they're able to really refine his Boot Mode for Victory Saber. Both the original and KFC Simba have issues with how the Lion Legs are incorporated, as well as the boots themselves being a tad long. The anime version has the lion legs convert into a really clean yellow layer on the boots, but I'm not sure how they would get that clean look from an engineering perspective.
I'd go with Victory Saber. Legends Pig Powered did a surprisingly good job turning Overlord into Dai Atlas, but Roadfire and Sonicbomber are a bit undersized and they could all be done better than just being remolds. Victory Saber is likely to be a more premium product. Edit: All three Powered Masters are actually smaller than they should be.
