If you're referring to the ones seen on that checklist that was posted on here months back, theres no official confirmation that those will ever actually exist/be made. The check list gives a date of 2020 which suggests they were probably supposed to come out last year before things went to hell with covid, than probably either got delayed or cancelled. For the record I hope its not true, and with a show one would assume that new toys would probably be made to help support a show based around a toyline. But from a realist standpoint, don't get your hopes too high. If a new wave does get made, it could even be totally different figures than what was shown on that checklist.

 

BotBots custom idea inspired by a convo about the idea of a PokeMon crossover: Take one of the ball mold ones, and paint it up as a Pokeball.

 

The show has been searchable on Netflix for a bit now and you should be able to add it, and some of the writers are still talking about it like it's a thing that is happening?
So something is definitely happening... at some point?

I agree those may not ever see the light of day, but we've seen listings for more tribes not on the Checklist, an exclusive(?) "Dino Store" assortment that ties them into the Cyberverse/Rescue Bots themes for the second half of this year, and a game controller & pizza vehicle set asst, plus the "Rally Ruckus" theme has been leaked that shows illustrations of the vehicles plus that multicolor-tinted Botbots will be the "new golds". So there's a lot of info out there that goes beyond the Series 6 checklist.

 

Yes there are those listings too, so I'm sure they'll be a "toy line" atleast to support the new show....cuz again why would you make a cartoon based around a toyline and not have a toyline to help support it? <_< Just too many people saw that checklist and assumed that was factual proof that series 6 was coming, when the reality of it was someone just found that by digging into a hasbro site in a place where it wasn't supposed to be found by a casual site viewer, maybe it was supposed to even be removed and just forgotten about? As I said before, I love the botbots toyline and hope it continues for a bit longer, but I'm not holding my breath too hard that I'll be able to own all the figures (if any) of them shown in that checklist.

 

When did we first learn about those listings, was it January? They're still in the Wal-Mart system, is this what it's like being interested in Hasbro properties that exist without fan support like Mr. Potato Head or something? I freakin' hate it.

Supposedly this week at Target was just a refresh, the BIG reset is around Aug 20.

 

Should there have been a trailer by now? It's too late for the show to not happen at this point but I wish we had something more concrete.

As for the toys, I wish Botbots had the clout to make it into a Transformers livestream. I know the livestreams are more for older fans but it would only benefit Hasbro to promote them in any way possible even for two minutes. I don't know if Kingdom BW Megatron was shown off in one of those but all they had to do was throw in Quackles and say Botbots are coming back this year with an animated series. That would've worked on some fans who were watching.

 

So maybe there’s still hope yet

 

Who the heck knows man. COvid really threw a monkey wrench in everything. It's supposed to be 20 episodes but who the heck knows how much work has even been done yet. I wouldn't be surprised if things get pushed back til early next year. Netflix has a page for Botbots, no videos, but it's a start.

 

Sorry if this is off topic...is there a list of Botbots that are painted in G1 colors like Shudder? I've tried searching but couldn't find anything

Botbots isn't big on homages, they're all pretty much unique characters. Well, there's Burgertron too, but I wouldn't call an old Happy Meal toy "G1".

 

One of the other ones in the Con Crew seems like he's in G2 Meg's Purple and Green colourscheme. TFWiki tells me it's Carb-o-nate.

And sorry if this is what you were referring to but Burgetron always gives me Samus Aran vibes.

Carb-o-nate just has a purple and green color scheme, I really doubt it's any homage to G2 Megatron's, given he shares no other similarities, whereas Shudder's obviously a camera just like Reflector. Carb-o-nate's purple-to-green has a similar "fade", but that's how some energy drink cans are colored.

As for Burgertron, I'm referring to a literal Happy Meal toy from the late '80s. It was called Burgertron and transformed into a burger. Hence Burgertron's oddly uninspired name amongst other Botbots.



The original Burgertron is the one in the middle.

 

In fairness, the original post just asked about colours so my answer is still technically correct, (The best kind of correct!   ) I wouldn't completely count out Carb-o-nate as a partial reference, especially his placement in a set with several other cosplayers including the aforementioned Coffeemas Prime or whatever his name was - I ended up having to take off the cardboard mask though as it was getting really tattered - the choice of G2 Megs colours seems less coincidental.
Also, while I don't have the box to hand right now I seem to recall thinking when I got it that the artwork seemed to position Carb-o-nate as if they were some kind of rival of the one dressed as Prime but that might just be me.

Thanks for sharing the info on Burgertron, that's kind of neat. I can see some conceptual predecessors of some of the other Fast Food BotBots there  
I still think Burgertron looks like Samus. It's the green visor especially paired with the orange and red trim that does it for me I think. So in my headcanon my Burgertron is female   then again people thought Samus was male till she took the helmet off so it kind of works

Also, I gave The Breaker of Fortunes some very stupid fortunes because he's one of my favorites, enjoy.
If he's in the show, the only acceptable means of making me enjoy a mute robot would be to have him be a fortune cookie who communicates solely through the corny strips of mindless dreck he pulls out of himself.
