Is it really surprising that something drops off the top ten after a week? From what I've seen on Netflix (and I watch a lot of shit on Netflix and streaming in general) it's not unusual or surprising.

Yeah, plus it's five twenty minute episodes. Not even two hours of content. I don't think they expected it to account for a lot of streaming outside the debut.

Yeah, the real test is going to be if the second-half's release puts it back up in the top ten.

I think the second half will bring a lot of people back on board. Watching the series a second time it really struck me how overblown the backlash is. It’s such a straight-up MOTU story that simply tried to raise the stakes.

Plus, the click-baity site makes their agenda obvious from the first line. Yay outrage-for-clicks

I would suggest not posting anything from Matt McGloin. He’s on par with WGTC as far as sources go, posts easy to disprove conspiracy theories, and has doxxed people in the past.

So now I know not to trust either World GT Championship or the West Georgia Technical College for pop-culture opinions. (I kid, and I don't really need to know which WGTC you're referring to.)

I want a buddy cop story with Clamp Champ and Fisto. It takes place during the aftermath of the Fall of Castle Grayskull. The duo heed the call to arms (pun intended) when magic returns to Eternia. They are the...Lethal Weapons.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation Is About to Become Evil-Lyn's Story

"Evil-Lyn, [is] absolutely one of my favorite characters, not just because Lena Headey gives it, what I feel, is like an award-worthy performance, bringing this character to life, but also because she serves as a mirror to Teela," Smith shared in a video posted on Twitter. "You're talking about two women who have been in the shadows of very powerful male characters since the inception of the franchise. And Teela, you know, fought side-by-side with He-Man definitely [like] more of his equal. Evil-Lyn, though, was always Skeletor's subservient."

Smith added that, when He-Man and Skeletor died in the Part 1 finale, it gave the writers an opportunity to explore how the women in their lives -- Teela and Evil-Lyn -- would evolve without them.

"What happens if those two figures are removed from their lives, who do they get to be?" Smith continued. "And as we see in these first five episodes, there's goodness in Evil-Lyn, as Orko points out. But in the next five episodes, kids, it shifts into an Evil-Lyn story that is so compelling. Absolutely fascinating, satisfying, heartbreaking. It became my favorite part of Masters of the Universe: Revelation."

"Watching somebody who's just been the sinister sidekick for all these years, abused by her boss and whatnot, have to deal with a world without that guy -- just like Teela is dealing with a world without He-Man -- Evil-Lyn has to figure out who she is in the absence of Skeletor," Smith shared. He also teased Evil-Lyn's "wonderful" Part 2 storyline and doubled-down on his proclamation that "she was the character I was most surprised that I enjoyed so much."

    Compelling enough. But...

It'll be interesting to see how part 2 plays out in comparison to how Kevin Smith sells it. I prepared for the worst with part 1 due to how it was promoted and was relieved to see it was unnecessary.

Nothing against Kevin Smith but I am going to tune out when he promotes Revelation.

I wonder if they'll touch on Ms. Powers situation and reference her father.

I didn’t expect all the Evil-Lyn character development to be forgotten in season two. Obviously we are going somewhere.

I suppose most of that could apply to Beast Man as well.

The Evil-Lyn Beastman dynamic is my favorite part of Revelation. Their relationship feels genuine in the story he obviously cares about her. He looked thrilled to have Skeletor back... I think he’s my favorite character so far.

I thought Beast Man was less than happy at the end. That tone of "Welcome back, Boss" seemed delivered in a "hey, things were going well without you, but now you're back and I can't say anything or you'll kick my ads" type of tone, but that could be just my opinion.
I liked this version of him too, and hope he gets more singular focus than as a friend of mine said, "Evil-Lyn's loyal dog". Outside Filmation, I hold him in high regard as one of the 5 main characters in that first mini-comic.

I get the feeling of Evil-Lyn and Beast Man having the equivalent of "water cooler talk when the boss isn't around" plenty of times around Snake Mountain in the past in the Revelation continuity.

It's a consistent criticism of Skeletor in part 1, from both sides of the struggle, that he is a constant failure in his attempts to take the Power of Grayskull. Everyone basically looks at Skeletor as a kind of a joke.

I can see both Evil-Lyn and Beast Man, both Skeletor loyalists, side eye each other from time to time thinking "Here we go again..." when Skeletor gathers his forces for yet another scheme debriefing.

I would be very happy if Beast Man ends this series on a least a neutral standing by choice, if not heroic. It'll be good to see the stereotypical brute-force goon everyone else treats as dumb get development for himself.

We see things like that a few times in the Filmation show, too.
