I could say the same about Target. In fact, they just owned up to a technical issue on their end that cancelled my Galvatron order.

Well, I have the RC credit card coming (have the debit, but it's pointless when I have decent credit already) so if the Ark pops up after I get it, I'll grab him, but he'll go back if he ships as-is.

Not Transformers related but I had the McFarlane Armored Darkseid figure pre-order and Target just ups and cancel my order because my payment method wouldn't work. Like wtf? They usually send you a email before hand to ask you to change your payment method but this time they didn't do that. Makes me so mad cause now I lost my chance at getting him now. Stupid Target.

Happened to me as well. No issues, then a cancellation regardless. At least they acknowledged that it was technical issue; not that it changed a thing, of course.

That's an unfortunate choice for packaging. Especially during the time of COVID.

Can we avoid these type of topics. Never ends well. So better to leave this out when it comes to us collecting toys.

Yes no plastic. I’m not a fan. It makes easy to scratch even damaging the figures should it get piled up on the toy shelves. My Nearest Target looks like a tornado went through the Toy section.

I like to make my own battle damage.
Kids remember every scratch or break. When and where it happened.
I was at my grandmothers house for Christmas when ultra Magnus punched shockwave off the front porch. 20’years later I would look at shockwave and his cracked chest… it took me back… I remembered the entire vacation like it was yesterday.

I'm on the fence with this one.
I can see Hasbro's perspective on this.
Cutting down on the clear plastic.
The box and the twine ties will breakdown in the dumps.
But this does take it a little too far.
You don't want lots of other people handling the toy your buying.
At the same time we don't want to go to completely closed boxes.
We like seeing the fig, especially the head, before we buy.
    There needs to be compromise.
    Kingdom did that.
    Simple window.
Add the twine ties instead of plastic and they'd be set.
This origin bb box just doesn't work.
I'm surprised I haven't seen reports of missing heads yet.

    Getting back on topic:
Waiting on Target to get my 'ship-to-store' rodimus in.
And get this reset finish so those skid in back can be unpacked.
