Found this at Walmart in Sedalia, MO today while out adventuring. Is this a first US retail sighting? I wasn't aware they'd hit shelves yet. Snagged a Thrust for myself. Left one each.

 

Sedalia needs to be closer to me.  

 

Found WreckGar and Thrust at Conley Rd Walmart in CoMo. Looks like someone else nabbed the other Wreckgar but still a Thrust there as of 9:45

 

This is the beginning of my petition to:
1. Build that dang KC-CoMo-StL bullet train and
2. Put in a stop in Sedalia

 

The Ferguson walmart on West Florissant road had one Wreck-Gar and two Thrusts, but the Wreck-Gar left with me!

 

Came up empty on the Illinois side, nothing of note at either O'Fallon IL or Collinsville Walmarts.

Did see a bunch of T-Wrecks on a pallet at Fairview Heights Target.

 

Walmart on veterans memorial had like 4 or 5 thrusts on the shelf but no Wreck gar. 1 Thrust left with me.

 

I just took a case of Voyagers off the pallet at Bridgeton Walmart. I took Wreck-gar but the two Thrust figures are still in the box if anyone is looking for them.

 

Kirkwood Target has 4 T-wrecks left but they're in the back so you have to ask them for it.

 

So no Wreck-Gars left at Bridgeton?

 

Correct, I only saw one case.

 

So if I'm getting this right, it sounds like cases are 2 Thrusts and 1 Wreck-Gar. Just something to keep in mind when hunting.

 

Correct. Which makes sense, because clearly a redeco of a BB movie toy is what people are more excited about compared to a near perfect rendition of a childhood favorite character.

 

was a 1:1 case ratio really out if the question? I don’t recall cases always being 3 figures per case- but maybe so. I realize either character has the potential to shelf warm, but yes you’d think Thrust is more likely to do so than Wreck-gar.

 

Deluxes are 4 to a case and Voyagers are 3 to a case.

 

Made a quick round of a few stores this morning.
Arnold Target: some last wave deluxe and misc figures
Arnold Walmart: several SS Grimlock, not much else
SoCo Walmart: supposedly there's an action figure aisle, I saw nothing but empty shelves
SoCo Target: 8" (maybe 10" actually) Prime PVC statue, and some large scale (12"-ish) Buzzworthy Bumblebee movie guys

 

Making my rounds hunting for Wreck-Gar. I’ll update this as I go:

Walmart North Lindbergh - Just 1 Thrust left
Walmart Hwy K - Nothing
Walmart Wentzville - Grindor, 2 Thrusts
Walmart 64/Hwy N - Also 1 Grindor and 2 Thrusts. Lady in a Hasbro shirt was stocking and said to just keep checking the shelves as stock is coming in. Not much help there but it was nice of her to try.
Walmart Jungermann - Nothing

And so my hunt concludes, unsuccessful.

 

Maplewood Walmart has the appearance of not having a dedicated Transformers section, like they just throw the toys down the aisle and they land where they land.
