    :p

I'm sure the movie is fine, this decision likely has nothing to do with Snake Eyes (Transformers is a completely different ball game) and the date will probably change again before ROTB is released.

The June release date seemed a bit optimistic to me anyway.

Although the leak that the movie would feature Beast Wars characters at all came from what people called an "unreliable" website. So anything is possible.

Not technically, since it is paraded as a "opinion piece" and not a final statement, it is more likely just clickbait written with the purpose of getting clicks from a, at the time, hot audience of people who needed a coping mechanism for a movie they wanted to bomb not-bombing.

But the information it brings to table as possible evidence of "disney lying" is meaningless and the sourced poster of the main tweets is a Twitter user who is worthlessly biased on the subject.

Which is no surprise considering this franchise’s track record. Especially within the past few years.

Which is why I tend to be cautiously optimistic about ROTB.

I believe they were banned, but it was a user who would often post incredibly funny rants around here. I believe there was one rant where they talked about smashing a Bumblebee figure with a hammer because they hated the character so much. And there was another rant about his Lego Death Star falling onto his kitchen floor and smashing into a million pieces. Overall, some very humorous stuff. I miss his posts.

I'd hope that the movie releases in the middle of the year, a winter release even in 2022 seems like a bad idea. If it does end up being delayed to Winter 2022, chances are it'll be pushed back even further and release in Summer 2023 unless the box office has picked up in 2022.

TF or the movies? Because TF seems to be doing fine and Bee was a critical success even if it wasn't a box office powerhouse.

"It is likely that the prevailing situation is affecting the completion of the 7th Transformers Live Action Movie"

Why can't we ever just say "pandemic", unless you've been living under a rock for 2 years we all know what the "situation" is, why can't we just.... own it

So many of the hobbyist communities I'm a part of are terrified of saying it, and it's baffling.

No you don't understand, a delay clearly means this film's going to suck and the franchise is totally doomed!

    Or something...

    Yeah, no.

If the movie insider member of the site staff makes it clear that Paramount is in deep shit worse than its near bankruptcy back in the wake of TL...

... then I'm going to assume that the financials are completely and utterly in shambles.

You joke, but as I said earlier, that seems to be some peoples hope on this thread. It's like they want Paramount to go under just to stick it to them.

A delay might help this movie, it might not, really this is one of those pieces of news I throw up my arms and go \"who really cares\" one way or another. What I will say is it does concern me if only because Paramount in recent years has gotten into this kind of nasty habit of panicking and shifting course whenever one of their movies doesn\'t do well and thus they make various bizarre changes to either try and accomodate or just outright cancel other movies. Now that isn\'t to say I think they will do that to Transformers since that is considered to be one of Paramount\'s top movie franchises but at the same time, I admit there is a part of me that feels some unease at this. As for the stuff that\'s directly related to the movie? Learning that this is actually going to have five factions gets me VERY worried about this possibly getting bloated.

Not to mention the jobs people would lose if the company goes south. It’s easy being anti corporate and wanting them to fail. Not directly wishing it of course because no reasonable person would want someone to lose their livelihood. But some wish a company they hate goes under and they never account for thousands of employees working for them.
