Oh ho ho! So I couldn't order this or Origins Bee for pick up at my closest store, and they didn't have them on the shelves despite saying in stock (not even shelf tags), but I could order both from a different, relatively close by store for pickup!

Works for me. Just waiting for my order from be ready now.

 

well 3 "in stock" Target stops and nothing, Targets my new least favorite......

 

They likely have the stock, but can't probably locate them in the back. It might be under several other boxes of other stock items. That's what happened to me today. Just wait till they actually get them out on the floor.

 

yeah the, "I'll check the back" responses I recieved when asking for assistance came off as more of, I'm gonna go over here wait 2 minutes then say we don't have it yet.

Just frustrating to have 3 stores show them in stock and come home empty handed.

 

i got mine today, wasn't out on the shelf so i basically asked if there was one in the back, now i got them, and i can say, fangry loose legs aren't really that bad, there not really even loose

 

Yep, an employee explained to me that a lot of toys are unpacked and then placed into "repack" boxes. If there's nearly a hundred repack boxes in the back, the employee can't search every one of them.

While staying up late to watch the Olympics I saw on tfw2005 that the Target listings for the World's Collide set went live (so sneaky Target!) Picked up this morning, thankfully was fullfilled.

Fangry is the highlight of the set for me, since he didn't come with his g1 gun, he's holding Titans Returns Fangry in weapon mode. Looking forward to Horri-bull/Terri-bull and Squeezeplay getting a body too!

Bumblebee is nothing too special unfortunately, here with the much more interesting Origins Bee. Hoping some third party will make a yellow Cliffjumper head I can swap on him.


Toy deco Blackarachnia isn't too bad, especially with the new head. I'll have her hang out with the Botcon Waspinator repaints.

 

Found the last one at my local Target last night, also have a buddy sitting on one for me, so this one shall sit sealed till I figure out what I am doing with it. Loved the headmasters and monsters as a kid, just don't know that I need two sets (since I missed out on a second Grotesque to display in both modes).

 

Know what I hate about 4-packs? The difficulty level of finding all four figures without any significant paint app mishaps is multiplied by four, or it's got an exponent, or something.

 

Got mine earlier and have had time to gain my opinion on everything in this. I'll go from how they're packed from left to right. But overall the quality control on all these guys is pretty decent and standard from what I've seen.

Nemesis Primal is quality wise the second best for me, he has just a couple slightly lose swivels at the biceps. I think he's the best in the set as a whole seperate from my own personal taste. I still wish the fur wasn't black just like Optimus, but the purple, silver, and teal makes up for that. He can definitely strike some menacing poses.

Fangry is fun for what he is. Part of me just wants to use the beast hands as his robot hands so that they're not just hanging there. His right knee is the looser one, but it's not obnoxious, he can still stand up straight without struggle. Beast mode is decent. Love the beast head, but the monsterbot torso is a bit distracting to me. I also would've liked if they left off the SPD,STR,INT text in my opinion. Biggest issue is the fact that he has no weapon of any kind, but I can just use one of the extra Astrotrain ones. Hopefully we get Horri-bull and Squeezplay soon, preferably as new molds this time.

Bumblebee is the best in terms of QC, everything is nice and tight. But he's still my least favorite of the set, although I still really like him. It's just strange to me that we already have a Bee in this mold family that's a Volkswagen, and now there's this. The instructions show the Cliffjumper head, which is funny, if they used that head instead I could repurpose him as Blow-Out. The green bazooka is cool, I actually like the bazooka so getting it in green is cool. I just wish he had two black stripes down his car modd to use as a "G1 Bayverse Bumblebee", mold/ the windows in a blue color to help seperate the stipes from the window for good measure. For now he's gonna stand in as Goldbug until we (hopefully) get a proper one.

Blackarachnia is my personal favorite, only because I love the color scheme. Nemesis Primal is still the overall best, but BA is my personal standout. Sadly, my BA has the most annoying QC of the whole set. Her neck is VERY floppy at the base, while the ball-joint is very tight. Still, I love BA, and the fact they made a recolor of her based on her OG toy packaging design is hilarious. Although I will still concede that it might have been better if the colors we're a bit muted, and I love bright colors.

Oh yeah... The all-spark. I thought I would've loved it when it was coming with the wave 3 spoiler pack, but I have not been able to find a good spot for that one. For now I'm using the spoiler pack one with my G1 guys (just... Laying on the ground between Megs and OP), and this WC one with my BW guys.

 

Good weekend at Target. Only need the Ravage exclusive and that's pretty much it for the year....

 

...which is a redeco of the Allspark from the WFCT Megatron/Skelivore pack, so it’s not even a new mold.

 

Just checked Target.com at random on this set. It showed as in stock at my nearest Target. Bolted, and got the last one. Family in the toy aisle were probably freaked when I cheered and grabbed it.

 

Is that a custom Titan Master accesory for Horri bull? Would love to see more pics of it.

 

So far no store within 50 miles is showing as having the set.

 

I got that on Shapeways, it doesn't transform just a solid 3D printed in full color glossy sandstone material, a little pricey but I thought it was neat to go with Titans Return Fangry

Guys the draw for this set is Nemesis Primal, or as I call Onyx Primal. BA is really nice too, sturdy complex and spindly... Except for the neck on mine. Bumblebee looks really good too, if you can forget the Walmart one existed. My Fangry is going to a friend.
