Or you know, it's just a simple delay.
Be it they have more to do or thanks to the new variant of the fun-fun viruses.

They will blame and attack us the moment the movie has 'issues'.

If the delay leads to a better movie, then so be it but as it is, my hopes still aren't high. They need to start over with a more focused story and a more direct sequel to Bumblebee.

I've been of the opinion for years that Goldner needs to be ejected from the position of Hasbro CEO.

Man I wish I knew how to navigate those copyright archives, still have a lot of animated shows I can't find there for some reason.

Nice move Paramount. December 2022 is already reserved for Avaconthas 2.

Did we not learn anything from Black Widow, He -Man, Snake Eye, Picard, Ghostbuster 2016, Last of Us part 2, Mass Effect, Star Wars and all others? Of course I know people will dismiss as some kind of troll or even worse. However I know all too well what a pain 'fandom' has been for now almost a decade. All this shit makes one jaded beyond reason and turn once bright eyed fanboys filled with blind consumerist love into angry shells. All because Hollywood and the entertainment industry has made it their mission to seemingly self destruct, for reasons either base and foul or, if you want to tinfoil, much darker ones.

Well, you know what? Maybe this is for the best. So many people are slowly realizing that us no lobger caring for 'franchises' is for the best. Maybe once its all burnt ashes we can be free. No longer stupidly emotionally attached to shitty, childish things. Honestly I can't wait to be given to no longer like Transformers. Then one more manchild holding me back will be gone.

My god. What are you even talking about. Is this some kind of troll? This reads like one of Aimless Misfire’s infamous rant posts :D

Wonder if this is due to Delta-related shooting challenges.

I can’t say with certainty what will happen if ROTB becomes a box office bomb. But all I know is that aside from the current state of the world affecting so many things, if the movie is neither highly rated and does bad at the box office then there’s need to be massive changes at Paramount and Hasbro. Either go with a scorch earth approach and fire the executives, producers who are in charge of overseeing the films and bring in people who actually care about quality for their films and not just seeing sales number on a computer. Or take a more radical approach, take the rights away from paramount and give it another studio. Paramount has shown they rather release a less quality movie to make bank then to make an actual good movie people would want to see. I hope BB wasn’t an anomaly in regards to good Transformers films, but if ROTB suffers a near TLK disaster then something has to change quick.

That site is a maze. Even this entry which is categorized under 'Paramount Pictures', doesn't come up on the Paramount Pictures category. Only when searched for Transformers it will show up. The tags do nothing. Such a horrible search functionality. Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins doesn't come up on G.I. Joe either. You'll have to be on a lucky day to unearth something like this. :D

I mean why not add this to the list of movies that get delayed for years on end. Not like people want to, idk, watch these movies....

I think it’s reasonable to assume so, plus I’m sure they want this to be a movie goer movie. There isn’t enough clout for this to be a direct to digital release.

Right now, I think production studios must understand that they can't do $200+ million budgeted movies during these trying times. Disney and Warner Bros. only saved their necks thanks to Disney+ and HBO Max respectively. Even so, it alienated theater owners and actors in the process. Big bucks can only come from streaming, VOD, and Home Releases.

I think it's a bad idea that Mr. di Bonaventura went with a $200+ million budget for a Transformers movie. It's not even like the movie pre-production began before COVID. It was right in the middle of it when theaters were hit left and right. They should have known better. Paramount is panicking with the Snake Eyes box-office disaster. Paramount+ streaming platform isn't doing well either. This is heading towards a disaster bigger than the 2017/2018 financial problems of Paramount.

I’m starting to see why so many people here are critical of Lorenzo.
