Given that they made the non-show pink version of Arcee (granted, still based on an official repaint), I wonder if they'd make a Soundblaster-inspired repaint of Soundwave at some point?

I always thought this mold looked so sick in black. The spikey, faceless helmet gives me a 'Witch King of Angmar' vibe.

 

Still hoping that pre-order listings for Soundwave are wrong and that he will indeed be over-sized.

I'm not ordering him unless he's bigger.

Love these two bots, just wish Arcee was more to scale, at least in bot mode. (She's NEVER in scale in alt mode, even in her Cyberverse Commander class...)

 

It looks like the same 3D custom shown years ago, I assume APC Toys has the files now. If that's true we're getting a super-articulated Arachnid with a near-perfect alt mode.

 

Don't get me excited, as I've been saying that's what they need to do since their Prime release....

Well, there's Final Battle Megatron AM-33 whose arm was redecoed to look similar to Liege Maximo's arm, but it's not actually the same design.

I think I've seen the Liege Maximo shield for sale somewhere, maybe Shapeways.com? Also, on eBay, I think.

Hello, are there any known plans on what figures/characters this company will (possibly) be making in the future? I’m interested because there are some TFP characters I want to buy, but I may wait if I know this company has plans to make a new, updated version of the character. It seems we may get some TFP figures in the next mainline trilogy(?) as well.

 

Currently released:
- Optimus Prime (original, Improved paint, nemesis, Black & gold, transparent black wheel, Transparent white wheel)
- Megatron (Metallic finish, battle damaged, Transparent)
- Arcee (Metallic blue, G1 pink)
Coming soon(?):
- Soundwave (currently art box only)
- Airachnid (3D design phase)
- Bulkhead (been teased since the first Optimus release but status currently unknown)

A possible pattern that APC releasing characters that rival each other.
Optimus -> Megatron
Arcee -> Airachnid
Soundwave -> ???

 

Obviously Bulkhead's rival is Soundwave. No one else, but Soundwave.

On a more serious note, APC had the perfect opportunity to reveal Bulkhead when the 10th anniversary Breakdown, Jet Vehicon, and Hades Megatron reissues were announced. They still do have the upper hand at Bulkhead, but it won't last forever. If the rumored Legacy's Bulkhead turns out better than the FE and/or scales better with the Breakdown reissue, then APC lost a significant amount of interest in their KO aside from paint.

 

Well we can certainly rule that out...

 

While I appreciate the sentiment (FE was pretty much a perfect representation of the Heavy Metal Masher) they might pull something out of the bag.

Or they might stick a different head on an Optimus body and knock off early. (I really hope they don't, even in Beast Hunters upgrade form, OP has such a different body-type to Bulkhead...)

 

Idk, Unless it’s a commander class, they are probably just going to make him a pretty cheap figure like the rest of their big characters that are leader or smaller.

 

Actually this is the more likely possibility, because from the leaks that was considered reputable, it was mentioned bulkhead will be a retool/remold of optimus prime.
