Pretty interesting overall; my concern is that there seems to be quite a bit of mass being supported on the back given the hinges for the armature that supports it. That seems to me like a potential point for it to break, or at the very least, develop some severe floppiness.

 

Those arm covers are really nice. Really beef up the look of those scrawny biceps.

 

It's actually mistransformed @JackKnife as Bandai loves to do it for their product shots. I have not seen or heard of anyone here or any other Macross forum having their own copy of the 31 break apart at the hinges or get floppy yet.

 

Ah, gotcha. And yeah; Bandai does seem to love doing that with their stuff, even though by all rights they should know how to transform their own toys! lol
