I'm sure many retailers will jsut send out to those who have purchased.

But even if not, is it that hard to send an email?

Honestly I think it’s cool that NA does this with the replacement parts. They did it with Megatron and now the constructicons. Yes, it would be nice if these were ready before being shipped and no replacement parts are needed but NA doesn’t need to do this and the fact that it’s a free upgrade is great. They are listening to user feedback and making good on it. I don’t know of any other TF manufacturer that does that.

lol...they arent doing this out of the goodness of their hearts.

that's not why they are doing it. they are scrambling to change the legs because they are getting panned everywhere about their subpar designs.

i swear i feel like im living in the twilight zone at times. i feel that if these dropped under any other company name they would be getting shit on royally by the group.

this is just a hail marry pass to keep people on the hook for their 330-400+ devy. no more no less.

I wonder if those replacement parts will be included with toy version.
I still haven't seen a replacement legs for their toy Megatron anywhere to buy.

Didn't they ship the legs with Thundercracker or something? They certainly didn't just ship them to people who bought Megs. There was an additional purchase needed to "make Megs correct".

Maybe they should include them with the 4th set, so people wouldn't have to bother retailers and retailers wouldn't get the extra work of sending them out to their customers.

I don't know, Iron Factory had a similar issue with their Tarn release. A design/assembly error that resulted in broken right shoulders. They fixed it with a follow on release pack in. There certainly is history of other companies trying to fix their mistakes. I got set A and I love them. They aren't absolutely perfect, but man they exceeded my expectations which were pretty high already.

When the advisory came out I found the slider but also tried to see just how hard you would have to force it to break it. Geez man you must have really applied a lot of force.

This is no design/assembly error which results in something broken... This is just straight up bad designing, which results in ugly hollow legs (not mentioning the rest). No props deserved for fixing it, they still tried to release it, but got hammered for it and are now paying the price.

Eh, people bitch about things MS does all the time too, at least NA address it.

How hard would it be for MS to put out a decent head for Cliffjumper after all the people complained about that? I’d say that head definitely qualifies as a “design flaw” if people want to start calling designer choices that.

I got my copy yesterday. Sorry for the blurry pics, I forgot my reading glasses at work and I'm having a hard time seeing my phone.

Anyway, they are a decent little set. My gripes would be that the forearm gaps are dumb, the gap on Bonecrushers upper chest is noticeable, and Scavengers torso doesn't lock in at all.

Positives for me are how they perfectly scale with the MS Stunticons, their articulation is top notch especially the legs, and Bonecrushers hand is articulated which doesn't sound like much, but adds a ton of personality to the figure.

    20210731_221254_copy_998x659.jpg

Looking forward to completing this set and filling out this shelf.

Fyi, showz did include horns and energon cubes.

One thing I neglected to mention that was a disappointment with the first set, to me, was having to trim a sprue nub off the dozer roof piece. I did it very carefully with a knife. Cut too much and there'd be a dent in a very visible spot on the alt mode.
