Waspinator loves getting focused!

I love my thrilling 30 waspy but I'll get this.

 

I was in college when the original Beast Wars came out. My dog is just about as old as you, LOL

I'm not sure what point exactly you were trying to make, but if you add up all the inaccuracies in both mode, Optimus primal is a far more show accurate toy than wheeljack. Wheel Jack has significant differences in both modes, yes including the alternate mode, which in my opinion or at least a significant as Optimus primal differences. Primal on the other hand has a slavishly toon accurate robot mode, especially if you got the Netflix version, and the biggest difference with his beast mode is the fur texture, which is actually accurate to the original toy, and the expression on his face. Robot wheeljack is more different from his Source material than beast mode Primal is, plus car wheel Jack is just as different too!

Plus, the fact that Beast Wars characters alt mode can emote actually weighs against your argument because in theory there's no reason Primal wouldn't be able to make a face like that. He looks grumpy, but he gets grumpy sometimes. There is no reason why the front grill of a Lancia Stratos would ever change into a different front grill.

So yeah, if you're going to be super incredibly Mega stickler about the Beast Wars characters alt mode, you should at least be just as attentive to the differences between the G1 characters show models and their robot mode, to say nothing of their alternate mode. Frankly I don't understand how anybody with Clear Vision should make the assertion that earthrise Wheeljack is just as cartoon accurate as Kingdom Primal is, to say nothing of more.

 

We have seen reviews for him already though. PvP is late to the party for once.

 

He is WAY late. Id almost venture it COULD be a legit purchased figure

 

It is good to get a review from a different perspective though

 

The blaster, insect legs and antenna really mar what is an otherwise good looking figure.

 

I insist, I will wait for a kit to improve that "piece of abdomen" that they take for a "weapon", as they did with Rhinox Kingdom.

 

It seams beasts hardly work with current budget models. It's amazing what they were able to accomplish though. Waspintor looks like he has a high partscount. Higher complexity than say Cheetor. I am 100% sure the designers wanted to do a proper gun. Same for Cheetor. But the budget was at its limit. Likely even past the limit, drawing on the budget of other figures

 

When do you think the first stores will get Waspinator in?

I'll probably give Kingdom Waspy my TakTom version's gun, as that butt plug the Kingdom version comes with is a joke.

Amazon is currently saying October. Which would fit with them being Q4.

 

True but these havent been found in the wild like those previous ones you mentioned. Its not a case of them coming out early.
